Bob Halkidis.
Great question. Took me a few minutes of going through hockey db — thought it would take longer - but the key to finding it was going through Brent Gretzky first.

That's cheating, we use the honour system on these trivia threads, either you know it or you don't. If you know the answer, post it, if you don't , please do no look it up and post it.
If I am stumped on a question, I'll look it up the answer, but will not post the answer, so someone else can answer it honestly.

My bad. I have always used the honour system in answering other questions here in the past. . You could see it in my responses to questions last week when I said “I found out the 3rd answer but will not post it as it defeats the purpose”

I guess I interpreteded this one as a question that could only be done and answered with a fair amount of deeper research, since it was an obscure answer that required flipping through about 30 player and team pages and was not a simple google. Which is why I labelled it as a great question. I’ll call it 4:00 in the morning poor logic, as you wake up in the middle of the night and think things that do not actually make sense.

Tigers, (Ty Cobb); Expos, (Pete Rose).

1 out of 2. Expos are correct.
When I researched the answers to my question the tricky part of the question I thought would be the Expos.

But it turned out both were a little tricky.

3 NHL Players before Austin Matthews, have a 60 goal season but no other 50+ goal seasons. Hint — the 60 goal seasons occurred between 1975 and 1990. Name them.

not sure what protocol is for open questions (this is 3 for me) so I will stop for today.

Update - Steve Shutt was answered correctly.

Room 112
Answer: Peter Stastny, Peter Forsberg and Kent Nilsson
I knew Stastny was 1st. A bit surprised on Kent Nilsson. Jagr would have been there if he had not played well into his 40's.

Other than Gretzky, Lemieux and Orr having more than one 90+ assists seasons, only one other player has accomplished this feat, who?

Trivia is not a scavenger hunt. Either you know the answer, you think you know the answer, you make an educated guess, or you post a joke answer. Research is not an option, if you plan to post a serious answer.

Research in advance is completely acceptable for anyone posting a question, if only to confirm that one's beliefs are true.

Interesting. According to the Jeff Marek show the answer is Troy Crowder. Since you did the research I'll accept your answer.
