I may have given diabetes the Tombstone Piledriver.

For the last 5 days I haven't had a blood sugar reading over 7.2. I've been doing it by consistently lengthening my hill circuit training by race walking. It's actually more demanding than running on uneven surfaces. For example, I could have conquered the big hill that connects the Humber Trail to the McMichael Art Gallery long ago. I finally race walked it without stopping to catch my breath on Wed and repeated the feet on Sat. I've reached the stage where I must eat a protein bar before doing my program, I've had morning blood sugar readings well below 5, 5 - 7 is considering normal. The crazy part is I was violently ill the night before, throwing up three times.

WARNING: Ozempic works like Welbutrin.

If you have a cigarette while on Welbutrin, you will get nauseous. Ozempic works the same way, only with sugar. The night before my conquest of the big hill, I ate four pieces of candied ginger, then I went to the deli for mini groceries. They had fresh sfogliattele, so I bought one and ate it. I spent time with my head in the toilet chucking up the contents of everything I ate that day. Ozempic also shrinks your stomach, I used to be able to inhale a panzerotto, now I struggle to finish one.

It's taken me 14 months of work but I've turned the corner. Hopefully I can say Arrivedirtshute to diabetes.

Some people say it looks silly, I've lost 16 lbs doing it and may be on the verge of beating diabetes.

I had a heart attack in March of 21. I started race walking to control the cravings after I got off the nicotine patch. Walter White was my inspiration.

Congrats on what you've done. If you have type 2 then I suspect your constant workouts have helped you to get in shape and reduce weight so that whatever remaining insulin your body makes, along with Ozempic, is enough to maintain your blood sugar reading. Possible to eliminate Ozempic as long as you maintain or increase what you're doing but once you reduce or decrease your workouts you'll likely need to start Ozempic again.
Beat diabetes, I doubt it. I speak from many years of experience on that. Control diabetes, I would say yes.

1/ Carbohydrates break down into glucose, which raises blood sugar. White rice and white bread are among the worst type of carbohydrates in that regard and should be avoided by diabetics.
2/ Diabetics should consume a balanced diet, which means fiber with every meal. Plenty of salads and vegetables
3/ Sugar content in ripe banana is enormous. Should be eaten in moderation or avoided altogether by everyone.

I was told to get rid of the WHITES
RICE
POTATO
PASTA
BREAD
SUGAR
SALT

once you lean downy can incorporate these in your week once or twice a week
but go with gluten free vegetable pasta sweet potato instead ofd white potato
natural sugar if needed raw type stay away from aspartame cause thats a whole ball of cancer

add cinnamon to your coffee it regulates sugar levels just dont eat cinnamon bunds ;)

add supplements like green tea oil of oregano capsules to build your immune d3 for the bones
and I take CLA IT BURNS FAT and helps speed my metabolism milk thistle to cleanse your liver if you drink moderately
if your liver is fatty you'll have a liver belly so take care of the liver its most important
and heart with fresh garlic or garlic capsules

I woke up Sunday morning, checked my blood sugar - 3.5. I needed to eat a protein bar to do the McMichael Trail Loop which has three hills. Your hip flexors are burning by the time you reach the Art Gallery. As of yet I don't know how fast I can race walk, I'll have to time myself going from Bindertwine Park to the Humber River bridge, that's just over a mile. I'll be lucky to break four minutes.

Pulling a rope is a great idea.

The opening clip proves that my memory still serves me well. Koko Beware didn't know anything about Mark Callaway, in the early 90's The Undertaker didn't brake character much. When he got set up for the Tombstone Piledriver, Koko panicked and shit himself - right in Callaway's face. He could have been seriously hurt, the TP wasn't executed very well.

Out of respect for James (Koko) Ware, Mark Callaway doesn't talk about it.

Diabetes is no joke. My dad suffered type 1 for several years. It was manageable but it took a lot of monitoring. I hope Ozempic works out for you IV.

3.5 sounds low. Too low is no good either.
That's why I've gone back to putting brown sugar in my coffee again. I need to bump my blood sugar up to 7 and slightly beyond to do my circuit training. I tried to do the McMichael Loop with low blood sugar once...I nearly ended up doing the Joe Frazier knockout curtsy.

The crowd yelled: DOWN GOES IV, DOWN GOES IV....Smokin Joe does his curtsy on the last knockout.

Catfish died after knocking himself out from a fall at home.......He had ALS for a year before the fall.

Great pitcher and great Yankee.

Darts's roll call of athletes with Diabetes had Catfish on it. He was also great with A's, five Wc rings.

Catfish had the greatest of success and a tragic life, he had diabetes, then was also diagnosed with ALS.

Life can be a cruel mistress. His daughter also passed at a relatively young age. Don't sweat the small stuff or small people.

Question: Is there a link between diabetes and ALS?

The story has a happy ending.

I race walked the Big Hill Route on the McMichael Trail, when I got back to my car, I wasn't even winded. Have to go to the gym during the winter to avoid becoming a gelatinous lard ass with fabulous man boobs, again. Once I start hitting the iron again, I'll put the muscle mass back on quickly. Haven't lost much bone density due to my diet, there are foods that slow down bone density loss - No. 1 on the list.

It's all the essential minerals within that make it bitter:
