I think you should be reposting this in the International section of this forum, not here

I've been to Philly twice. Beautiful city, but not much of an identifiable scene where escort agencies are concerned. The last time I conducted any research, I opted to save my money (owing to high rates, lack of any real variety, legal risk).

In general, it is not advisable to hobby in the US. As mentioned above, rates and legal risks are much higher.

I'm American and I concur with this. The U.S. probably ranks ahead of only Saudi Arabia and Iran for hobbying destinations. Booking an escort just isn't worth the risk of being caught by LE and essentially having your life destroyed through public humiliation. Strip clubs generally are over-priced and low mileage.

My advice is to abstain for that week and just release to porn. Save your money for the GTA, like I do.

Did you have a bad experience hobbying in the U.S? Its hard to imagine just across an imaginary line, the risk drop significantly. I've wanted to try but I read a lot of posts that say its too risky. Is it really that risky if you try to book an escort?

Totally different laws and law enforcement in the USA. What is accepted here is likely to get you and the girl arrested in the US. For that reason, prices are also far higher in the States. That’s risk money.

That at least explains the rates being higher. Thanks for clarity.

This is the lady I see in Philadelphia.

I absolutely love her.

She is not a cop, I will assure you of that.

When booking her, she may ask enough questions of you to be sure you are not a cop. That is important to her, you, and every John in the U.S.

For what it is worth, Philadelphia is one of the cities in the U.S. with a hands-off policy regarding independent escorts who screen, charge a reasonable rate per hour, and advertise on reputable sites.

If you do something stupid, like answer ads on low-end classified ads like Skip The Games, bad things might happen to you. Including the possibility of you answering a law enforcement entrapment ad.

In general, when conversing with an independent escort, it is better for both of you not to discuss explicit details. independent escorts have reviews. Johns are supposed to read them instead of asking about explicit services. I don’t recommend anyone who is not GFE, by the way.

What Canadians, and Americans who only do this in Canada, simply can’t understand is the lack of equality that exists in terms of law enforcement activity when it comes to Vice. Some aspects of the hobby are left completely alone everywhere, and some cities leave some aspects alone while attacking other parts.

Getting outcall to your hotel room from an independent escort who has reviews, advertises with her own website or through a site such as Tryst, screens, and charges at or above a certain price threshold is extremely safe. Even safer if you don’t mention any explicit acts in your correspondence. There is no such thing as police busing down the door of a nice hotel looking for people having sex. Family Guy is a comedy, not reality. Hell, they don’t do that in Iran.

But the cops might well be staking out a low-end Asian massage parlor, or running explicit entrapment ads on a low-end website like skipthegames for $100 sex and arresting guys going to the fake incall place, while you are safely seeing the expensive independent escort in a nice hotel. Everyone, and everything, is not equal in the U.S. The country invented those concepts, but long ago abandoned them.

This is good info. Thanks for sharing.

Seems like it's a consistent story with everyone. The cheaper one on the sites you mentioned are simply too risky, so if you want to have a good time, need to pay a premium for the well reviewed ones.

Looks like Toronto is great market after all.

Kind of silly for a country that is always promoting how free it is, and you have to jump through hoops to get 2 minutes of pleasure.

Maybe someone can chime in about how hellish the low-end scene is in Canada. Like Leolist, which I presume is not as bad as what I will describe as the U.S. low-end scene.

My experiences in Toronto have been with Hush Companions and with one independent who advertises on Terb.

In Montreal, I have used most of the well-known escort agencies and plenty of reputable independents.

Other than the significant price difference, I have never seen a difference in service between the U.S. and Canada with respect to upper-end U.S. escorts.

In fairness to the U.S. police, the lower-end of the U.S. scene is hell on earth. I have encountered situations that makes me promise to stay away from the low-end of the U.S. scene. Sometimes it is easier said than done, especially if one travels to a small city with only a low-end scene.

There is extensive drug use in the low-end of the U.S. scene. If you read usasexguide in the U.S., you will find guys tracking when a low-end provider is scheduled to be released from jail since she will likely be providing services and agree to lower prices. And sometimes low-end providers roll their clients at incalls with the assistance of violent boyfriends.

In other words, there can be a valid reason for the police to legitimately focus their attention on the low-end scene. Plenty of other crimes such as drugs and violence for them to find along with the sex.

The fake law enforcement ads in the U.S. are more disturbing, but they are a product of prosecuting attorneys running for elected office. They ain’t posing as a high-end call girl who screens. Those ads only work from a publicity standpoint if they attract 50-100 responses, and that only happens if the price is low and no screening is requested.

Are there any agencies, for whichever cities you have tried, similar to to which is offered in Toronto that you can share? Or have they all been independents? Like A Hush equivalent. I looked over this http://www.usasexguide.nl site. Not a lot of states that have agencies similar to Toronto.

Keep in mind that Toronto is better than the U.S., so you simply won’t find equivalency with respect to ease, availability and certainly pricing.

And I don’t recommend usasexguide. It caters to lower priced options, and if something bad is going to happen to you in the U.S., it is likely to be from an option mentioned in usasexguide and/or in a mass-classified advertisement. Stick to TER, or if going downmarket a little bit, then ECCIE.

With that said, let’s talk about agencies. With that I mean something similar to Toronto’s Hush Companions, not a group of independents who use a common booker. But a true agency with incall ladies who often use hotels and multiple condo locations, in addition to doing outcall.

The U.S. was once full of such agencies, but a federal government crackdown occurred. That crackdown did not involve customers or sex workers. The federal government has a stated policy of only pursuing those involved with running the organization, although in fairness you really don’t want to be one of the few unfortunate people who gets interviewed as a witness to a crime when a bust occurs. But being considered a witness is a very, very small chance. What the federal government really wants is the assets of agencies it seizes and keeps.

That having been said, the federal government has limited jurisdiction and only goes after agencies that operate in multiple states, including arranging the travel of ladies between states. Unfortunately, most states share the federal government’s dislike of agencies, The most notable being California, which has always moved to shut down agencies. There was a famous town hall discussion between a Los Angeles concerned citizen, i.e., an old moralistic bitch, who waived TER and ECCIE type reviews in front of everyone and asked why LAPD was not going after these women. The sheriff explained that their policy is not to enter private residences to pursue minor Vice activities barring neighbor complaints or evidence of coercion or underaged women being involved. Not a lot different than Canada’s c-36 prioritization policy, really, except for the very big fact that L.A. considers an agency arrangement to be evidence of coercion. So in L.A., you have independent escorts. There are some agency-like arrangements in Korea Town that don’t seem to be pursued. Perhaps that is simply due to the language and culture barriers.

That all having been said, the one U.S. city that is the exception with respect to agencies is Chicago. Many agencies have operated in Chicago for many years with no law enforcement hassles. They operate in Chicago only with no crossing of state lines that would invite action by the federal government. The largest one, Michelle’s, recently went away after thirty years or so because the operator died rather unexpectedly at an old age. No one knows why Chicago takes a different view of agencies than other U.S. cities. Some have suggested that Chicago levies a tax on them that is not the type of tax you can find in the statutes and regulations, given the notorious reputation of Chicago being a rather corrupt city. Even with that being said, you have to do standard U.S. screening to see anyone in the U.S., whether it is an L.A. independent escort or a Chicago agency lady.

After the demise of Michelle’s, I don’t have personal experience, but I would note that these two agencies have the best reputation among reviewers, with Chloe Chi of Elsachi’s being to ”go to” girl among all the possibilities at the two groups.
