Hopefully this is the first step toward decriminalizing pot and rescheduling it. Long overdue as is the Safe banking Act.
Directly from Federal prison? Only a few thousand.
The big change will be changing it from a Schedule 1 drug and the knock down effects on state pardons if this opens up space for them to follow suit.
6500 is the number I've heard.
Its a smart move politically and socially.
Most Americans want it decriminalized.
