One of the many things the internet has fucked up. Don't get me wrong, there have been some nice innovations. I don't miss paper maps and not knowing where the fuck I am going in strange cities.
But the internet seemed to kill streetwalking, which is a shame.
Most of these online ads, you can't see the face at all. Sometimes the camera work is distorted too to make it seem better than it is. And of course there's bait and switch.
I miss the days of Jarvis and Wellsley streetwalkers. There were a lot of how streetwalkers now that I mention it. Buying in person is better. I just don't miss being taken to that shitty Motel (Waverly?) and giving my details to the front desk guy at 2 am and the smell of those rooms.
