The Thompson Twins aren't synth pop. They created a unique sound by using percussion for melody...and Sherrie Currie had fantastic mammalian protuberances.

She turned down $1 million to pose for Playboy.

They were considered new wave/synth-pop.

Had tx to Journey, but they kept pushing the date back. Was actually on the GO train heading to the show in May, when I checked the app to see when doors open only to discover it have been postponed. I took a refund.

I have passed on Bill Burr, Craig Ferguson, Blue Rodeo, Kathleen Madigan, a Bills Game and few other I can’t think of off hand.

I actually posted this in the Black Music thread because it definitely incorporates some r&b/soul elements. Naked Eyes were more new wave than synthpop but I often combine the 2 genres. Plus there isn't a new wave thread here. This particular remix is intoxicating. Put your headphones on and prepare to be mesmerized
