New mobile app for entering the US at Pearson.

Hey everyone.

Has anybody used this new app for entering the US through Pearson?

It's not mandatory but it replaces filling out the declaration form and the site says there will be a separate line at customs for the app user.

Just wondering if anyone has used it and if it really speeds up going through US Customs?

Probably adds more confusion to the existing mess. There is always lines of people at Customs and Security
NEXUS is the way to enter and exit Canada

I think it's the security line ups that are the problems because they are contractors where as customs are US government employees. Customs agents aren't going to just leave the job because of the pandemic.
Nexus is definitely the way to go if you are a regular traveler to the US. Good luck getting 1 anytime soon.
For someone like me that might cross the border once every 3-5 years, Nexus isn't worth it.

Since you ar an infrequent traveler your choice is to use the new app and stand in line with the others.
