I mean just like yourself it’s so much easier to ignore what they do completely.. how Russians were killed there for 8 years and as a matter of fact Ukrainians that lived in D and L and those reports are just not convenient to hear.
You forgot to ask them if they want to right now(your voice is for democracy..!isn’t it?) and that’s exactly what Ukraine was listening to from the states and the uk about Donbas since 2014. And now what?

But she is from Lugansk. She had to bring her mother in 2016 here because her mother was tired of sitting in the basement, hiding from Ukrainian shelling and loosing her friends. As a matter of fact they have close family in Kiev, who they stopped any communication with because they have 100% different ideas of what they want Donbas to be e.g Russian or Ukrainian

You are right, I forgot the asking part of the invasion. You probably simply missed it in the news as clearly there is way more going on in your life other than Ukraine or at least that’s what I hope. And if i find some time to kill I’ll look up the articles how Ukraine bashed both organizations for bringing it up..

No where in the report does it state what is claimed in the artcle, the UN report doesn’t explicitly say that Ukraine’s defence forces used human shields but only expressed concern about allegations of this occurring.
Under a section titled “Means and methods – Areas of concern” the report states that the UN had concerns that both sides “took up positions either in residential areas or near civilian objects”
The UNHR did not say that the Ukrainian military used the care home residents as human shields and it did not accuse the country’s forces of a war crime.
“The OHCHR is further concerned by reports of the use of human shields,”
Well now all you have to do is get in touch with Crystal's "Ukrainian (from Lugansk) accountant", her accountant's elderly mother who the accountant finally moved his mother here after Russian invaded to save her in 2014, the accountant's family in Kiev and Crystal's back waxer and you should be able to get an even more reliable analysis to add to TERB's "Battlefield Babushka" 's political and military analysis.
