My man Heavy D (RIP). Took elements of both Give Me the Night by George Benson as well as Kool & the Gang's Ladies Night

Boz Scaggs had such a unique voice, I just love it. Lowdown is one of my ATF songs but he had an extensive discog. This tune is pretty cool. Featuring Toronto native Lisa Dal Bello on background vocals
i mentioned elsewhere that Boz has been featured on the Blues channel on Sirious radio....i agree with you Dougie.............im a fan

Don't recall that song, but saw her live at the Club Bluenote years ago, sang her great hit At Last. She was quite large by then, started her song wearing a light coloured lavender dress, ended wearing a very dark purple wet dress. She was terrific.

Silk Degrees is a fantastic album. 'Lowdown', 'What Can I Say', 'Lido Shuffle'. Great blend of rock, blues and soul.
Love this tune of his as well

A buddy put me on this one recently. I didn't know Chaka Khan had dropped any new music recently. This track is from 2018

Nicole Scherzinger was part of the female group The Pussycat Dolls. They had hit songs 'Don't Cha Think' and 'Buttons'. She embarked on a solo career soon thereafter but never really made it big. I think she lacked the proper management and production they should have taken her into an r&b/soul direction as opposed to pop/electronic. She has a great voice. I really dig this track produced by will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas. She's also VERY EASY on the eyes

Nicole also appeared on this Diddy joint back in 2006. This was a club banger.

Another one of my post 2000 r&b favorites. 'Heard It All Before' by Sunshine Anderson. I believe was a one hit wonder.

Mid 90's was so good for r&b and hip hop collabs. This remix of The Braxtons 'So Many Ways' was produced by Jermaine Dupri for So So Def Productions and featured Jay-Z with guest vocals

Crush by Zhane appeared on their second album Saturday Night which was released in 1997. I loved their debut album but sort of slept on this one, outside of a couple songs. Featured some heavyweights on production including Darren Lighty and KayGee from the hip hop group Naughty By Nature.

The early 90's were just amazing. You had unbelievable House music. New Jack Swing. The Golden Age of Hip Hop.
