Took them 4 years, 20 million casualties sustained (4 x as many as they inflicted on the Germans) and a massive shitload of American trucks and tanks. And the Germans set themselves up by over-extending to the Volga.
Compare other conflicts like World War 1, the Russo-Japanese War and the Crimean War when the Russians took a massive, brutal ball-kicking and were ineffective and incompetent and generally a laughing stock to everybody else.
Yeah, these ethnic Russian post-hoc fantasies of past glory in battles is delusional and only hurts themselves.
And yet, they are the larges country on the planet, and I will tell you why this is.
They have foresight, and are able to think ahead, and are willing to share the wealth.
Americans, British, and the french are all about exploitation, from slavery to this dah, they will set up a city or small country as administrative center in the area, such as hong kong, singapore, south africa etc.. and than use them to opress and milk the rest of the general area, while everyone looks at the riches of the country nwxt to them, they twnd to ignore the poverty they themself live in.
And you guys here sound awfully, like you feel bad that the Germans have lost the war LoL
Also the Russians will 110% win this one, there is no doubt abiut that, the outcome was set the day they started this special ooeration how they call it, and your so called western allies will get what they want as well, western Ukraine and a massive cheap labour force to populate their plants across europe. They have realised that the arabs are shit workers, so better get them Ukranians they are great workers, and quite cheap compared to the domestic population of those industrialised countries.
Yes, if the rest of the world could somehow harness reknowned Russian workers with their intelligence and work ethic.

Nah, I always cheer for the Russians when I read about WW 2. But they did a poor and inefficient job in getting the win. Americans did it way smarter and way less costly.
Why aren't the Russians winning now, 6-pac? It's been 6 months and they've obtained pretty much fuck-all since the first couple of weeks when they grabbed Kherson and Mariupol.

Was refering to Ukranians, but 2 me they are the same, so yeah, sure why not.
First of all It took them more than few weeks to take those 2 cities.
Secondly, I have never said that Ukis are not putting up a fight, as a matter a fact Ukranian army is way more competent than any other European army at this moment( this is one of the reasons Europe is scared shitless).
It is quite unfortunate that the Russians and ukis are fighting, since they are the same people in essence, with millenia long family and historical ties.
The Russians will advance, and with the fall of every major city the entire teritory around it falls as well, so next is Nikolaev, than Odesa. It may take a year it may take 5 but that will happen.
Consider 2014 a warning shot across the bow, but i guess Ukis are 2 dumb to see it for what it is.
