Dude Russia is taking on a completely NATO trained and equipped army with about 15-20% of its total military power. If anything the myth of NATO power being shredded yet again.
So you are arguing that NATO requiring 0% of its forces to fight 20% of Russia's forces to a standstill proves NATO has no power?

His "argument" is that Ukraine is a NATO proxy force and that Russia has fought Ukraine to a standstill with only 20% of the Russian army and is biding its time before it unleashes the other 80% and crushes all before it.

Notty doesn't actually read or watch much military analysis.

But haven't you been listening to Notti?
Only NATO and the US can break agreements.
Russia explicitly breaking the Budapest Memorandum doesn't count.
The Budapest memorandum was invalidated by Ukraine alignment with NATO and end of its neutral status.

Yes, he tried very hard to stop it.
That you think otherwise is kind of embarassing for you.
Show me a smidgen of evidence. All he did was tell Americans to get out and leveled threats at Russia. That is utterly pathetic.

If Biden let Russia do whatever it wanted, he could have stopped it.

Nottyboi's argument is this.
If someone wants to rape your wife, and you say no, then the fact the rape of your wife is violent is your fault.
If you just let him rape her without struggling, then the damage would be less.

Now, you and I might disagree that this is an exceptable solution, but it is a consistent one.
Its more like you are surrounded by an armed gang with your wife. They demand you hand over your wallet in return for letting you both leave safely. And you decided to fight and both get beaten to piss and raped. But then you say. Well I didn't back down. !!!

I didn't say they have no power, they have a lot less power then they claim. But yes you are correct NATO is fighting Ukrainians are doing the dying. That is their role in this war. To get fed into the meat grinder.

Russia also lost in Afghanistan and it was next door to Russia. Iraq had serious military power, it was not a mickey mouse army.
yes Russia lost in Afghanistan after the US started pouring aid into the country. USA and NATO lost it ALL ON THEIR OWN.

Yes, nonsense describes your idea that Putin should have a say in what organizations Ukraine joins.
More than "a say".
He wanted NATO to rewrite their charter for him.

The Budapest memorandum was invalidated by Ukraine alignment with NATO and end of its neutral status.
Ukraine didn't join NATO.
Putin's argument was that since there was a coup, he hadn't signed anything with the new state, so it no longer applied.

Show me a smidgen of evidence. All he did was tell Americans to get out and leveled threats at Russia. That is utterly pathetic.
We've been over this, notty.
You have preemptively decided that all the negotiations were invalid.
Total capitulation to everything Russia demanded was the only way to stop the war, according to you, and since Biden wouldn't do that, Putin had no choice but to go to war.

Its more like you are surrounded by an armed gang with your wife. They demand you hand over your wallet in return for letting you both leave safely. And you decided to fight and both get beaten to piss and raped. But then you say. Well I didn't back down. !!!
I do appreciate that you have decided to characterize Putin and Russia as the armed criminal gang in this situation.

NO one says there needs to be TOTAL CAPTULATION. There was no discussion, basically FUCK OFF.

All nations interact like armed criminal gangs. Why do you think every nation spends BILLIONS ensuring we have the capacity to kill another nations people.

Given that Russia intends to cancel Ukrainian sovereignty and democracy, what do you suggest Ukraine does, Notty?

Also the clear evidence that Russia is committing massive war crimes on Ukrainian soil, including random and also organized killings and abductions, including child abductions on a mass, wholesale level.

And given the fact that direct NATO involvement in fighting would trigger World War 3, is this really your preferred option?

There's a reason why you're isolated on the board and that reason is that your opinions are silly.

Didn't we already have WWIII after Russia invaded the Donbas in 2014?

It's news to me that Ukraine was non neutral or aligned with NATO. Isn't it a fact that Ukraine was kept out of both NATO and the EU, largely to placate Russia?
