I learned my lesson the hard way. After the mental health issues discussed, I viewed this as a turn on, and asked her if she was willing to do a knife role play on me, whereby she ties me up and threatens me with a knife etc.

I left bloodied as she did not understand or even remotely listen to my safe words.

I actually felt that I could have been murdered.

I debated on calling the police but as the stab wounds were not life threatening, I simply went to the hospital.
