He had removed classified documents. He destroyed govt records.. They were on his property. That is a felony. No one disputed that.
A search warrant issued by a judge who believed probable cause existed. The agents spoke to his attorneys and the secret service prior. Thus the "raid" language is bullshit.

lol! The President determines classification nor is ANY document in President 's possession deemed classified to him/her.

He has to sign an order to declassify most documents. Just because it's in his possession does not mean it's declassified.
Moreover, the documents belong to the USA. Not Donald Trump. Everything he did as president belongs to the USA. It is a felony to destroy government documents. Here you go,

Moreover, all his ex staff said they were lax about document handling during his administration. That's totally unacceptable.

He would have been briefed about this too, and his staff repeatedly. But then again he let Russians into the oval office and accidentally gave out classified info twice.

Not to himself. There's no document in the Executive Branch that is deemed "classified " to the President. They should have gone through the channels, if they wanted access to them so badly. Now, they inflamed the whole GOP and ensured that he will be inaugurated in January 2025. Congrats.Ex president.
