This from the article " The health expert drew criticism for not speaking up more publicly to contradict Trump's claims that drinking bleach could kill the virus.''

Trump has said a lot of moronic stuff but he never did say this. However the lie that he did has been so maliciously spread by the the media and internet trolls that it's almost accepted as true.

And here in this piece it is being done again..........

You're correct about that. I believe that he wondered if somehow injecting bleach into the lungs could kill the virus. Probably also not wise, but he didn't advocate drinking it.

Similarly, he never said that all Mexicans were rapists. He was speaking specifically of illegal Mexican immigrants and said that some were rapists and some were "probably good people" if I remember the quote correctly.

Trump says enough stupid things that he probably invites exaggerations, but you're right that what he does say should be reported honestly.

And, for what it's worth, I'm no Trump fan.

You're pretty much right ......Notice though he never says the word bleach......That was a nice add by his detractors.

All he has to say is that criminals can get into the country because the illegals are unvetted but being the moron he is he can't sugar coat anything.....

Howard Stern was once asked who his favourite guest of all time was. He without hesitation said Trump. And this was before he became president. When asked why. Stern replied, because he has absolutely no filter. While that makes for great morning drive listening it's definitely not a quality of a good president. Hopefully he doesn't run again......

I suppose you've disconnected his comments from the presentation that preceded it.

Trump’s eyebrow-raising query came immediately after William N. Bryan, the acting undersecretary for science and technology at the Department of Homeland Security, gave a presentation on the potential impact of summer heat and humidity, which also included references to tests that showed the effectiveness of different types of disinfectants. He recounted data from recent tests that showed how bleach, alcohol and sunlight could kill the coronavirus on surfaces.

So the Daily Mail takes a quote from Brix's book promotion tour to claim something new. If you read what she actually said, it's possible a lab worker got infected. As with every claim, she presents no evidence other than thinking the outbreak virus was able to cause a rapid outbreak.

Just another case where clickbait media tries to drive sales by twisting what an author says in their book promotion tour.

Fauci just changed his tune too. From the lab leak is a shiny thing that will go away, he now says “we are keeping an open mind”.

Here’s the lesson in this covid coverup folks:

“The truth is merciless, relentless, and always wins in the end. You do not want it as your enemy.”

What's the difference between the conspiracy theory and the truth? About 6 months.

You notice that neither Brix or Fauci back the unsupported claim it was a lab leak.

Yet we're 2 years after Trump made the unsupported claim it was from the Chines lab and there is still no more evidence than there was at the time.

A conspiracy theory is explicitly a belief without evidence. If there is actual evidence (and not a wall with random pictures and string) it's not an irrational belief.

Where is your "evidence" that it came from somewhere else? Do link me to the independent inquiry that excludes the Wuhan lab from the possible cause, since you're so big on "evidence". Oh, yeah there was no transparent, independent investigation into the origins of the Wuhan virus. Only a name change and a lot of smoke and "explaining".

There will never be evidence you accept, jcpro.
I linked two articles in the other thread and you won't even consider them on their merits.

Have you ignored all of the scientific papers that have been posted in the past few years? Multiple studies have shown that the market area was the source of the original outbreak and that the strain showed no signs of genetic manipulation.

Which of these seems the most probable explanation?
- the virus emerged at the market because the source animal was something at the market.
- the virus escaped the lab but somehow only infected people in the area of the market a significant distance away from the lab.
- it was intentionally released at the market.

Of course the other options are possible but there is absolutely no evidence to make them the most probable and as is typical, science follows the most likely conclusion until evidence shows something else.

Sure it's a theoretical possibility but my first question would be why did that lab worker not infect anyone else and wasn't showing any symptoms.

It would be like saying that someone working at Toronto airport could have infected someone at St Lawrence market. A quick google search says Wuhan is more than 10 times the area of Toronto and has 4 times the population. Makes the probability pretty damn low so that's why it isn't being taken as seriously as zoonotic transfer.

Gates stated in a Ted talk, viruses will be used as bio-weapons.
He talked about population control through vaccines.
He has close ties with China.
WEF, blah, blah, blah.

People who believed the narrative and fell for it are going to staunchly defend and reject anything that is said otherwise today even by those who were involved in it 2 years ago.
I think I would too. lol

If Fauci came out today and said "I lied" those very same people would say "No you didn't" lol

Hollywood and predicitive programming.
