I "opened" for Sam Kinison at his first-ever live performance in Toronto.

Late October or early November, 1984, Sam was unknown outside of the Houston, Texas area. Mark Brelin of Yuk-Yuks booked him has the headliner for Tuesday - Thursday night. He performed a half-hour showcase of his act on Monday, (Amateur Night), and I was one of the ten amateurs who took the stage before him. I had never laughed so hard before, nor since.
