Island airport and Porter

I am thinking of travel to a domestic location served by Porter. We all know what a disaster Pearson is at this time. Has anyone travelled from the island airport using Porter, and how is presently? Hopefully not as bad as Pearson.

My buddy flies to and from Northern Ontario all the time. Says he will only fly out of Porter. So Take that for what it’s worth. I would w take his advice and if I can stay away from Pearson - I would.

A co-worker used Porter for a PEI vacation trip a few weeks ago. He had a good experience at the airport and the plane wasn't crammed to the gills.

Couldn't agree more with sentiments expressed here about Porter and the airport at City Island. I always fly Porter to TO when I visit. Best airline I've ever used. Love the ironic retro vibe of women flight attendants' pillbox hats. Love that I can be at my airbnb in the city door to door in under three hours. Love that I can be at the airport in 15 minutes from place in TO for my return flight home. And price is a lot less than flying to Pearson.

Before Covid I flew Porter from Chicago several times. Great experience. Porter treats you like human!

Porter is little out of the way (distance) with few flights, but a dream compared to Pearson

Pearson is a freaking nightmare, rude airline staff, rude security, rude immigration, rude everything. The bad attitude might be from working long hours for a low pay.

Prop planes can be very loud. I have flown on some United DASH 8's and it's very loud.

I have flow Porter a couple of times and their planes are much quieter than United's Dash 8. When I flew with Porter I found their service was good and the Toronto Island Airport is much easier than Pearson.

Depending on where you are flying porter is great - I've also recently flew out of Buffalo - great airport and cheap parking option

I love porter. Easy access to downtown, good service, don’t try and mickle and dime you for everything and Free Beer!
