Recession? Does that Mean SP Rates will go Down?

Completely agree! Sex is a neccissity for men so prices wont go down. I also think of sp's as a "luxury" service so dont think we will see price drops. Im sure many ladies may leave the industry due to lack of bookings but no way do i see the reputable agencies and ladies lowering prices due to a recession.
A few years ago, an SP was willing to trade service for two Raptors tickets (her son was a big Raptors fan). I sometime get these tickets for free from work.
The real squeeze will be on young couples who bought houses on low rates now facing rising carrying costs.
So maybe non traditional opportunities for arrangements.

The Uneducated Economist is predicting a severe recession (Depression?) in which there will be food shortages and people starving. The Uneducated Economist may have some extreme views, but some of his predictions in the past were correct. If there are starving people, surely SP rates will drop.
Wishful thinking. Demand will likely drop, and so could supply. I wouldn't hold my breath.
Local bylaw enforcement efforts should go down, there may be somewhat more user friendly environment, assuming everyone can stay away from outright trafficking and guns. Rates going down when EVERYTHING else is going up, though? You trying to be funny?

And the cigarette trees, on big rock candy mountain...Anyone who is looking to the current situation as an opportunity to take advantage of SPs SHOULD be holding their breath. Hold it forever - more precious oxygen for the rest of us. Your otherwise useless carcass (as if someone like you would be an organ donor or anything) might make decent organic fertilizer. A good rant in the morning is really invigorating!
...I've only seen one example of that recently, and I'm not sure it has anything to do with a looming recession.
I highly doubt a recession even on the scale of the Great Recession would dampen agency rates, particularly since this recession is likely to be laced with stagflation. It almost certainly will introduce a bunch of new talent to the mix though, which'll give hobbyists more options. That might lead to some price drops, but my thought would be those drops would be confined to the higher end ladies currently charging $400+ per hour.
It is hard one. Prices are rising so ladies may need to raise rates to cover. My hotels costs have gone up about 70-80%. Hotels costing $130/night are now over $200. Has to Markham went from $20-25 to $45-50 and volume has decreased by about 10% at this moment. Which is not a lot really. One appointment really over a 3 days period, but because the prices are so much higher, that is less profit for me. So some may decide to raise rates to meet the profit they were making before.
Personally, this all pads my retirement so I can keep my rates and just put less in the retirement fund every month but for someone who uses this to pay bills, you may see an increase in rates, not a decrease. However you have to also look at wear and tear on the body. I have a max amount of appointments I will take in a day as well. Even if I am available, if I have met that number for the day, I decline. So lowering rates to gain more clients wouldn’t work for me anyways.
Although, if I was paying my bills and needed to make a certain quota per month, my business experience would tell me to lower even by $10 and that would make a difference overall. But again, that also would need to take into account west and tear on the body taking more appointments.

Even pussy has a ceiling price. In a recession, everything but Primo Pussy will have a ceiling that falls during economic bad times. That said, there's a sucker born every day, so some fools will naively pay top rates regardless. Thinking with the little head, instead of the big head.
I hope you are right, for the sake of my wallet. But I suspect that the majority view here that rates will not drop is probably the correct one.
