Surely you are not making the broad sweeping statement that anyone who is not on the left of the political spectrum is automatically a racist.
Also, this isn't very surprising. Considering that all indications are that Man first evolved in the African region and spread out from there, everyplace that man traveled to 15 to 20 thousand years ago were likely dark skinned. Until the local environments forced evolutionary change for adaptability.
