The only thing worse than the most corrupt president in U.S. history, is the way the GOP protected and enabled him. Time and time again the gutless and spineless GOP defended that lying clown at all cost. People like Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy actually hate Trump, and yet wouldn't lift a finger to hold him accountable. Which means if these cowards are willing to protect someone like Trump, they will protect anyone.

The failed.insurrection should have been the last straw but the GOP had to show they will take care of their biggest money draws no matter how vile or corrupt they are. After 1/6 they just kept quiet and take the Wait and see approach. Once they realized that Donnie pulled off the largest attack on American soil since 1812 they backtracked and pretended like it was justified. I am sure the nazis went through the same thing under Hitler. You can speak out and do the right thing or sit back silently and do your job.
