Sentence is not severe enough. Asshats that drive drunk or under the influence of drugs, use the vehicles they drive to kill or injure people, flee police ( car chases) or engage in juvenile stunt driving should have their licenses cancelled FOR LIFE. In the case of killing or injuring people with a vehicle a MINIMUM of 25 years imprisonment should apply. No parole, no early release.

Some who live in the area may not like me saying this, Peel Region is the most dangerous area of the GTA for traffic fatalities. The whole region was built for car culture, the blood letting is extreme. Queensway - Dixie is the most dangerous intersection in the entire GTA.

I was the contract administrator for different contracts that went on for about 8 years, overseeing all the Zum shelters Brampton rolled out to go with their express bus service.

I always tried to avoid spot checking the progress on days when rain was in the forecast.
Because folks on major arterials in Brampton don't seem to understand the concept of drive to a speed that is safe in accordance with road conditions.

Like barrel along going 80, and then act surprised when their anti lock systems do not bring them to a stop util they are well past the pedestrian crossing and edging into the opposing traffic when their traffic light turns red.

Bill Morneau is rich enough already. I don't mind driving fast...fast and stupid I have a problem with. Some may not like my next comment...most Canadains would fail an Italian driving test the first time.

This perp was a repeat offender 12 previous driving infractions. He had 8 times the legal cannabis limit in his system and was driving at more than double the posted speed limit when he took the lives of a mother and her 3 daughters. He had a suspended drivers license and no insurance.
The family is upset and outraged, not necessarily just at the sentence, but at the lack of genuine remorse for his actions.
By law he could have received a life sentence (25 years). He got 17. Served 3 years so far. He could be out on parole after serving just 11 1/3 years.
I sincerely hope he doesn't make parole I would have sentenced this maggot to the fullest extent of the law. He destroyed a family.
