Weird woke shit 😂

The employment tribunal ruled that using the word could be 'inherently related to sex' and amount to a form of discrimination.

Bloomberg — Calling a male colleague bald isn’t harmless banter but sexual harassment.

That’s the conclusion of a British employment tribunal who ruled that using the word could be “inherently related to sex” and amount to a form of discrimination.
The decision came in the case of electrician Tony Finn who sued a small Yorkshire-based family business, where he’d worked for nearly 24 years, for unfair dismissal and sexual harassment. He accused a colleague of calling him a “fat bald c—.”

The all-male, three member tribunal panel agreed that Finn didn’t complain about the “industrial language” of the shop floor but the epithets relating to his age and hair.
“It is difficult to conclude other than that” those words were spoken “with the purpose of violating the claimant’s dignity and creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for him,” the judgment said.

Finn also succeeded in his claim for unfair dismissal.

So if they called him just a fat cunt, they could have got away with it? Bald was just a bridge too far?

This part is true
“It is difficult to conclude other than that” those words were spoken “with the purpose of violating the claimant’s dignity and creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for him,” the judgment said.
But I don't see the sexual harassment part of it.

Apparently someone got accused of a hate crime because buddy called a police horse gay.
1: Nothing wrong with being gay
2: Horse probably didn't understand him
3: If anyone should be sexually confident it would be a horse, it's literally hung like itself
4: In buddy's defense he was naked on all fours with a guy dressed in uniform sitting on him, if that's not gay, what is.

Typical government overreach. It's not like bald guys really need to be shielded from verbal abuse. There are numerous snappy comebacks to bald slurs. If all else fails, 🖕 is often adequate. Anyone have a clip of Al Bundy at a BAD (Bald American Dudes) meeting?...

You realize that it's a wrongful dismissal case, huh?

And insulting the employee that you then illegally fire boosts the damages award. That's all the case stands for. Let's travel back to 1973, when "woke" didn't exist. If I was - hypothetically - a foreman and I called an employee "Hey, you fat, fucking slob with only 9 fingers! I'm firing your fat, 9-fingered ass and you can go find that 10th finger that you lost in the lathe 8 years ago, Loser asshole with an obesity problem!" then the guy I insulted and then fired gets massive additional monetary damages for being publicly humiliated as part of the firing.

Standard employment law. Always has been. Shoulda gone to Law School, Andrew.

I like baldness I always had crap hair. My brother tried to mock me for that once and I was like, WTF dude. Might as well make fun of a guy for being swole or having a 10 inch dick.

I'm firing your fat, 9-fingered ass
I would think having an ass with fingers might make any sort of sit down job difficult.
Also much like being a Bink with Black Pink in your area, I'd say having an ass with fingers warrants a visit to the doctor.

government overreach has been rampant since much of the harassment laws have been enacted. sure there are legitimate cases but a lot of the cases have swung to far one way. calling someone obese, they smell bad, or whatever. if this is considered harassment so would calling someone bald especially after telling them not to. some men accept the fact they are bald and some men do not accept and its a soft spot for them. shouldnt bald men be entitled to a workplace free from ridicule just like the fatties?

sexual harassment no, harassment yes.
