All the people interviewed were black. So it is fair to assume the victim and perpetrator are both black.
They interviewed a (black) Pastor Sherman. He said he has been attending more funerals than weddings.
Gangs, drugs, arrests, "brazen" killings. All due to racism, right?
Black on black killings is far more than murder of black people by law enforcement.
The ironic thing is that the people who claim to care the most, care the least. Most totally ignore all the deaths until the one in a thousand killed by a cop(who usually was committing some sort of crime). They actually let the criminals out as soon as possible now, decimating the communities.

The question is WHY?

Answer: they are using them for political gain.

No they aren't Police are not the one's that "save" people for an uncivilized society. Opportunity, living conditions and greater prosperity does far more than enforcement in terms of providing safety. Look at our neighbors in Scandinavian countries. Their social programs are top notch and provide for less violent criminal activity among the populace because of how easy and simple it is to achieve basic living conditions.

Not saying police aren't necessary. They absolutely are. But this reliance on them saying they are your the only thing keeping you from the mass hordes of evil wrongdoers is wrong. In many cases, they're the one's you should fear. Regardless of race. I can easily google so many instances of poor white people getting absolutely assaulted by police for no good reason at all.
You win the internet this week, buddy.

Would you concede that there is a fundamental problem of disproportionate broken black families? Example.
My sister in law and her husband emigrated to Canada thirty years ago from Ghana and left behind 3 children. The children were thriving in prestigious local schools in Ghana sponsored by their parents.
Then the children joined their parents in Toronto and they continued to thrive here. Then the marriage broke up and the kids went to Vancouver with their mother. Dad disappeared to the US never to be heard from again.
Mom worked two jobs to support the kids. Left to their own devices, the two boys joined local gangs. Both are dead. The girl had a child, dropped out of school and joined the stripper circuit.
Such, sadly, is the fate of so many black children.

Liberals like you would rather point fingers at racism than confront the cancer in black communities.
In 1965, Assistant Labor Secretary Daniel Monahan raised alarm at instability of black communities. It came to be known as the Monahan Report. The percentage of single black mothers at the time was 21%. It is over 70% today!

I queation your cherry picked data.

This article says usa and uk are number 1 and 2 for single parent families.

In usa in 2018 49% of black familes were single parent not 70%

And some african countries like kenya have as low as 15% which by the way has only 16 percent living in poverty.

So its not race its about affluence. Blacks in USA are struggling financially thus the problems you see.

Thats why in kenya you dont see the same problems.

The same can be said for indigenous peiole of canada and usa..... they tend to br poor and therefore have shitty stats when it comes to imprisonment etc.

Take a look at white rockers.... vince neil killed someone while drving drunk, ozzy osbourne tried to kill his wife, a bunch has beaten theircwives, gary glitter had child porn, the lead singer of hedley is fighting 2 rape charges. Axl rose incited a riot.

So the idea that black rappers have cornered the market for bad behaviour is looking through rose coloured glasses.

Anybody scared to walk through the poor white areas of the east coast or poor Asian areas of Vancouver? Perhaps a comparison of the crime levels of the poor areas in each region, now that they have been identified, would be quite interesting. Which area is one most likely to be shot. Anyone want to guess?

Are we learning yet. Perhaps the crime is higher throughout the financial ladder in certain communities. After all, how many murdered rich white musical artists are there . How is the comparison of the rich sports star community.
East Hastings in Vancouver is like the Walking Dead that area is fucking scarey.

Barton St in Hamilton is sketchy.

Parkdale in Toronto was rough

Queen East in Toronto used have hookers and junkies in alleys

I wouldnt call those areas black but id certainly say they had poor people, homelss people and drug addicts and dealers and pimps. That makes for a dangerous area.

Sadly fighting homelessness and addiction and crime is a business and there are people getting a lot of tax dollars who would be out of a job if they actually made a difference.

Regarding Kenya and other African countries, you have ventured into territory you know nothing about. So let me educate you. Traditional African houses are round or square with rooms opening onto a central compound. All the kids from different parents live and play together. There are no African words for aunts or uncles or cousins. The sister of your mom is your mom, the brother of your dad is your dad and all the siblings from different mothers are your brothers or sisters. With so many people living and pooling resources together, poverty is alleviated. Grandparents dont go to old age homes. They are cared for under the communal living system.

Communal system is not as prevalent in the cities but single parents are never alone. All members of the extended family system chip in to help other members in far away places in need. And this is why immigrants send money back home. I never forget those mothers and fathers who took care of me when my own parents were away.

And discipline is strong. When I was 12, my buddies and I were caught playing cards for pennies and reported to my parents. I was strapped down in that compound and given 6 lashes on my bare buttocks in front of everybody. Then my parents reported me to our school. In front of the whole school, the 5 gambling boys were paraded, scolded and given 6 more lashes each. I was sore for weeks. Never gambled again. Even today, the fear of gambling is so strong I have never purchased a 6/49 ticket.

Compare this gathering of the clans with the children of single mothers in the Jane/Finch corridor and projects in the USA. There is little supervision and very little discipline and the kids fall prey to gangs who become their family. The notorious Bloods and Crips LA gangs are very active in the GTA. So it is not about affluence. It has become about race because blacks are disproportionally represented in the single parent syndrome. Children of poor Indian and Chinese immigrants grow up in two parent families under strong discipline. That is why their children are thriving under the opportunities afforded by Canada.

By the way, I made a mistake in another post. To us immigrants, Canada is not like heaven. It is heaven :)

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and their ilk.
Even Barack Obama who was a community organizer. He used that cred to climb all the way to the presidency. Once there, he forgot all about the community. And couldnt care a farthing about the community out of politics. He was paid $600,000 for one speech in Colombia! His former community in Chicago, where his wife grew up, is a war zone with rampant shootings and killings. He couldnt care less. Until a George Floyd happens.

You cant say in 2 different countries that the same race has different outcomes. Then in the same bresthe claim that its about race. If it was race then the problem would be in both countries.

Like you say little supervision leads to problems.

Those problems occur universally for all kids. If left unsupervised bad things happen.

Now why are the kids unsupervised?

Parent is working.

So sorry to burst your bubble it is affluence that ia the problem.

Also before you broadly paint indian and asian families with a broad brush you should learn about the concept of the "model munority."

Here is a link to show that amingst american asians there is a massive range in income and education and part of that has to do with immigrstion policies favouring entry to skillee and trained.

Also, note thag asians are the race with the broadesr disaprity between the extremely rich and poor asians. Widest of all races. So again id caution you on generalizations on how well asians are doing.

Therefore you canr conclude asians are doing well thanks to being in the US.

If usa imported black doctors from africa then the trends in asians and blacks would be more similar.

I have driven through East Hastings in Vancouver. Don't remember it being a poor Asian area as was mentioned earlier as a high crime area of Vancouver. That being said, it is not nice. Once again, I wouldn't mind hearing about the poor white area in the Maritimes that is said to be high crime. Might go check it out.

Heres a list of rockers involved in murders....

So again crime in music is not a black thing.
Ok, good info. Have to admit that I haven't heard of a lot of them but will not try to use that as an excuse. I will simply do similar. I am not sure of the ratio of singers from one community to the next for making a comparison of death rate.

Everything I said went in one ear and out another with zero understanding. Incredible.

In Canada and US, it has become race because too many broken black families lead to little children supervision, gangs, drugs, shootings, jail.
Invariably, there is only one parent (mother), which is why black children are unsupervised disproportionately.

If both parents assisted in caring for their children, many of the kids would not go astray regardless of family income

In Africa, extended family system and discipline set kids on the straight and narrow.

When you have so many professionals as Indians do, income disparity is bound to be high. Doesnt mean there are no poor Asians. Moreover, poorer Asians are still far better off than poor blacks.

And poorer Asians are not killing themselves at the rate blacks are slaughtering each other. Perhaps you have noticed.

I see your point.
Unfortunately i think gun culture and hip hop overlap.
With rock there probably a lot more drug and alcohol deaths.
Anyways, im not sure if breaking it down by ratio is too important as my point is i feel people point to rap as this evil thing but often they make 2 mistakes
1) they focus on certain rappers who have the negative message thst provrs their point. Ignoring those that have a posirive message.

2) they focus on criiminality within the rap genre but ignore other genres like rock.

I feel that people in the past viewed rock the same way some are viewing hip hop today.

Thats the part that bothers me. Its just feels like the same ignorant prudish old fuddy duddy pov. Im not saying you are any of those things just that it follows the same type of pattern.

Oh i heard you.

I just disagree.

Last thing i plan on saying.

Its foolish to take a complex social problem a d pin in down to race. Especially when steonger fsctors like poverty and discrimination are at play.... which is why other races have problems with success in north america..... e.g. indigenious people

Anyways, you do you.

14 year old murders 18 year old at school
Brazen killing at a busy shopping mall, followed by escape in a car jacked vehicle
Children shot at a playground
And on and on and on
No other race in Canada is committing these heinous crimes at this scale in the GTA or Canada for that matter.
And you describe these as a complex social problem. Unreal. Truly unreal.
