Someone pointed out that 9 of the 10 most populous countries in the world were not sanctioning russia. Germany has so far proven to be their biggest friend in the west. They were the country who could have had the most clout economically and actually militarily. They chose to pussy foot it all the way. Chose to keep buying russian oil and gas. Refusing to send weapons to Ukraine. You'd have thought that what with their personal history of fucking Ukraine up the ass and killing millions of Ukrainians they might have stepped up. But oh no. Not germany.

Germany might have refused to send weapons to Ukraine on the
realization that the longer the war dragged on the more Ukrainians
are going to die. OTOH Trudeau's decision to send heavy weapons to
Ukraine could be the right thing to do. Protracted war between Russia
and Ukraine is beneficial to our natural resource export business.

Germany IS sending weapons to Ukraine. BTW: Germany is a customer of Russian gas, a customer is not a friend. Just like being a customer of an escort doesn't mean you are a friend of that escort. India and the PRC buy Russian oil, they are customers, not friends.
