Have a place just north of Barrie, hate the traffic, and although I am a gardener I have one rose bush there that I hate, and the lake near my place has a dirty filthy shore. Gonna get rid of it. Will use the proceeds to spend more time with the beautiful ladies from this board and some cold beer.

The story is cryptic - so I understand your surprise. Others will get a chuckle. But back to the covering question - what is your perfect summer weekend?

Great time to cash in any RE that's not home. You won't be able to take it with you. If it no longer gives you joy you are right to cash it in on some BJs...

Hosting friends in our back yard for chat and drinks and a bbq'ed meal in the shade of the back yard trees.

Cold summer salads prepared bit by bit the week in advance, like potato salad, macaroni salad, carrot and raisin salad., etc

Grew up in Orillia, and used to hate fighting traffic to get up there the visit my parents while they were still there.
Get the kids still in pj's into car at 5am Saturday morning and arrive for breakfast was way better than trying to get there Friday night.
Then same routine 8:30 pm or so Sunday night.

No huge cottage country traffic to have to fight through hanging in the back yard.

I’m the opposite. My trailer is amazing. She is old but in a nice rustic way. She has been painted, have new furniture and stuff. All the comforts of home.

Huge garden with every different type of perennial. Only have to weed it as it is an established garden.

The lake is awesome. My park owner rakes the bottom and adds sand for a proper beach. We have two. One for people and one for dogs.

Boat and dock are right there as well so it makes fishing easier. Just hope in and go. Fishing is amazing. Walleye, brass, perch and my fav - Muskie. Looking to beat my record of 4 1/2 feet this year but I doubt I will. That one was a monster, I did share the pic around here somewhere .

It is only 1hr 15 mins away from me on side roads so little traffic annoyances on the way.

camp fires, bbqing, having friends and family gather, watching the clear glass water as I kayak …. So many great things.

It just goes to show, you have to find the right place that works for everything for you personally and that is hard sometimes. Just having a cottage or trailer is not always ideal and for some, the “novelty” can wear off.

A morning round of golf, followed by a afternoon session with a SP and topping it off with a grilled steak on the BBQ in the evening.
We have a winner!

Ideally, a warm tropical beach with naked serving girls for me and naked serving guys/girls for my lady friend. But in reality, an electronics free warm summer day at home sitting outside enjoying the sun with tunes playing in the background, a lady friend and BBQ'd food of some sort.

I love watching & hearing the loons by my dock for morning dock coffee or mid day break.
I'm in the Kayak, the water on the lake is like glass, coffee is in the travel mug, fog still lifting off the water and I listen to to the loons.

Mine may be more peaceful, but yours sounds like a very enjoyable day. A wooden stick in the morning & again in the afternoon.
Safe to say in the afternoon you want a higher stroke count & a mulligan or two 😉

Well that sounds terrific and methinks if I had all of that I would be a happy man. Do you own it yourself outright? Which will probably lead me the next question, good fishing?..and if the answer to that one is yes, then I have one last question... " are you a married woman, cus I would like to make you an offer"

LOL.

yes I own the trailer and the boat. Pay seasonal fees for the site at the park and the dock. And yes the fishing is awesome but alas, I will never marry. Too many men need these boobs for stress relief and who am I to deny them this. It is my civic duty to sell my booty. 😘😂😂😂
