Even my cost of living has gone up and I've started to weigh my options with what a price increase could do to offset costs.

I'll be honest the service will remain the same but a slightly higher price. How will this work out has me slightly panicked.

One trick is to grandfather rates for regular clients who you see on at least a monthly basis. This helps with not losing clients because of the increase.

If it is an increase of more then $100/hr, start looking at marketing in the higher price point. It can sometimes be different.

If raising $20-$50 - you shouldn’t see too much issue to your new price but go back and try to find all old ads and either update or delete the rate. Avoid the “but your rate on here says xxx”

Announce the rate increase a couple weeks in advance to get guys use to the idea.

These are just off the top of my head. Try not to worry too much, now is kind of the time. It is almost expected with the higher costs of living now.

These are just a couple of thoughtst

- I think that you need to analyse what % of your revenues come from clients who visit approximately 1x per month or more [ thank you Jenesis] and what % is from those who visit every 3 to 6 months. As a well reviewed SP my guess is that these should represent a significant % of total revenues and are the ones who matter the most. Whether you want to grandfather their pricing is another matter. And what % is either from new clients or from clients who you may have seen before but not in the last 6 months or so- these do not matter as much since they come and go and there will hopefully always be new ones.

There will always be some hobbiers who are attracted more to higher priced SP's - and there are plenty of reviews on here for SP's who are priced at $400+/hr. Who are the guys that will pay that? I suppose the same guys who have to drive a $100,000 car. In my opinion the increased enjoyment factor of visiting a $400 girl vs. a well reviewed $250 to $300 SP is probably rarely more than 5 or 10% . Just for the record , as a frequent hobbier , but one who can afford much more than I am willing to pay , my limit is about $250/ hr. I have always found that the 40+ girls with the less than perfect bodies [ are usually lower volume ] usually provide far better service for me [ as an older guy] and are more appreciative and try harder . And as a very frequent repeater [ sometimes over several years ] not one of the girls who I see , or have seen frequently , has ever increased their rate to me. Not that a modest increase in the rate would send me away. I think most of my regular SP's see me as a reliable 4 to 5k a year client as well as an a easy / low maintenance type and are happy to stay with their current rate with me.

Yes…. It will rub some the guys the wrong way. Those are likely the clients you don’t want anyways. Honestly, there are people who think a $100 is a lot of money.

The free market mechanism will determine if the rate increase will affect your business in any way. Who knows, you might do 2 consecutive rate
increases this year ? ( or go back to today's rates.)

All of us are effected by inflation. Everything goes up but salaries.
Restaurants and bars gamble by increasing prices and decreasing quantity. They loose customers
You too can gamble by increasing prices and not service. You will loose some and keep some.

The Asian agencies and indies have risen their prices significantly and they're mostly plain Jane 30 plus somethings.

I dont think anyone would blame you for increasing rates i mean everything is going up these days. You have to make sure that this business is something that is still worthwhile financially for you to be in and if that means increasing rates so be it. Most gents who want to come and see you are not really going to complain about a slight increase in rates and if they do complain are those really the type of clients you want to see anyways? As long as level of service remains the same and its something men are happy with the gents will always be coming back for more regardless of rate

@perfection - you have nothing to worry about, it all comes down to the service you provide - I personally have no issue paying the amount the SP's have set IF the service is stellar. You are actively involved in the forums and your service speaks for itself, your value is noted so go ahead and test the waters, you can always go back if it doesn't work - reward your experience and enjoy what you love to do and what we love about you.

There are raising rates for Inflation adjustments, and there are raising rates out of greed.
Just be the SP you want to see.

Usually, most hobbyists can tell the difference.

In all honesty have you considered posting some basic photos on dating sites with a link to a private Instagram, followed by a link to an onlyfans account (and if you're not too tech savvy I help people set them up for 20% month).
My question though is how hard is it for a guy to enter this kind of business? And what are female clients usually like and what do they often expect? Being a personal trainer in and after Covid lockdowns hasn't been easy with gym restrictions.
