As we approach the running season, any long distance runners in the house? 5K, 10K, marathon, etc.? Our company have/had several over the years. Two things to keep in mind.
1) Make sure you get a clean bill of health first. Several years ago, one of our runners died minutes after completing his run. Bad heart.
2) Wear and tear. Bear in mind that your knees don't have unlimited revolutions. One of my co-workers was training for the NYC marathon when his knee "exploded". An MRI showed he had the knees of an 85 year old. Too much wear and tear over the years.
