so im driving with my lady and she was getting tired of Soul Town on my radio...told me to switch it to the 70,s.. i obliged and this song came on....i know about it from my youth, but forgot about it..upon listening....i like it....

He has one powerful voice. Of course as the lead singer of The Guess Who, their song American Woman was thought to be an anti Vietnam political song but the band members said it was not. To bad he and Randy Bachman had a falling out as they were IMO Canada's best Rock band. I happened to see him perform solo in later years at of all places the old Annandale Golf and Curling club, had put on a lot of weight but could still belt out some great songs such as Stand Tall, Break it to them Gently and These Eyes.
