What, because a couple of fringe MEP said some mean and inaccurate things about him??? Look, I'm not a huge Trudeau supporter, but he holds his own. He might not be as smart as his dad, but he isn't as stupid as the right wants to paint him.
If you have seen my posts I think you will agree that I am not a rightie. I do think he did the right thing in putting an end to the idiot truckers obstruction. But he only speaks in platitudes and never really says anything substantive. He will hold onto power because he made a deal with the devil. The undeniable fact is that he in where he is because of his last name (and his hair didn't hurt). He is certainly not the first child to capitalize on a fathers name and legacy but sometimes they grow into the office. JT has not.

Time for a wee bit of perspective here. There are exactly 705 Members of European Parliament. Only three "slammed" Trudeau.

A huge Nothing Burger with extra Who-Gives-a-Fuck sauce.
Time for a wee bit of perspective
1. There were not 705 people attending Justin's hypocritical speech
2. How often does a visiting Head of State get "slammed" when making a speech to the EU ?

FYI - If Justin is willing to trample on the freedoms of Canadian truckers , he wont hesitate to do the same to you
He does not need your vote anymore

Don't go preaching "democracy " a month after you raped it. That was over the top even by Justin's standards of hypocrisy and he got, rightly, called on it.

That's why we love Oracle, he doesn't let facts get in the way of a good phlegm hoark.

In the interest of fairness, this is from World India News.

How did JT "rape" democracy?

Can't wait to hear the dimwitted answer you're about to give.
Since you assume that my answer will be "dimwitted " why would I even attempt to engage someone of your intellectual prowess?

He's a horrible public speaker, still talks like a teacher reading a lesson.
But his government has been totally fine, no scandals, no policy disasters and that's why he keeps getting re-elected.

I don't disagree with you. It is all platitudes, and his actions are sometimes very contrary to all his sunny times bullshit. But, I don't think he's as stupid as the right wants to paint him. And, I don't think you can call the agreement with the NDP a deal with the devil. They are two parties that have a lot of alignment. Obviously the NDP is farther left, but expanding healthcare to include dental is a big deal and will help a lot of people.

I agree with everything you say however, what we do not know is what else he has promised the NDP. That is what I fear.

They have a formal agreement on seven things. Can't remember them all, but its healthcare, housing, reconciliation with First Nations, and a few others. The Liberals and NDP have some overlap in what they want to do. Back in the day, the PCs and Reform/Canadian Alliance had similar beliefs. Now, I'm not saying these two parties will merge, because I think there is still a massive gulf between them. But, where they are aligned is where I can see them working together. Previously when the Liberals passed legislation the NDP liked, they would vote against it because it didn't go far enough.

The reality here is this agreement isn't something most NDP voters would be pissed about. They will see some policies they support actually get passed. Without this, there is a chance the Liberals would do the healthcare stuff, but a good chance they wouldn't. And, for those saying the NDP voter would be upset, I ask you this: would they have voted PC if they knew this would happen? Doubtful. Maybe they don't vote at all...which would likely give the Liberals the same vote total, and maybe a few extra ridings (in areas where they came in second).

Really, the only people upset about all of this are the PCs, because they have no power what so ever. A month ago they could force a snap election for any major vote. They could use that leverage, to an extent, to force the Liberals to do what they wanted. Now, they are about as effective as the Bloc. They have virtually no say in the matter until the next election. And, is that any different if the Liberals had won a majority?
