Takng my Porsche Carrera-2 to the track.
But, and only but, it's time for new tires.
At $650 per, I would rather fuck than burn.

....so I have to check myself to make sure I don’t reveal my “hobbyist” side to anyone especially civilian females.
I have been golfing a lot, especially the last two years. After the smoking hot 25 year old beer cart girl comes by and serves us drinks, she drives away and I say, man I'd love to hit that! My friends are like "WTF man, she's like 25??? Get a grip." I slink back into the golf cart trying to look embarrassed....but I'm not.

Rollercoasters. Trying different ones around the world. Best so far in North America is the Jurassic Park in Orlando that goes to 70 mph in 4 seconds. Yet to try the Ferrari Coaster in Abu Dabbi. 1-240 km in 4.9 seconds. That could be extreme hobbying......

I was driving by Wonderland on the weekend. You think the wooden MineBuster is outdated now? lol.

If I go on that or the Bat, my neck needs a real massage! That being said, $250 gets you unlimited parking, access to the Park and meals every 4 hours, drinks every 15 minutes for the year. Great value for the money for 1 year.

Flying planes and racing cars is a very close second to having sex.
Done both and thoroughly agree. Though they do get pricy... I got as far as an F3 test back when I was racing several decades ago.

My current adrenaline rush hobby is IPSC which is also a lot of fun and a great bunch of like minded people.. But the clothes do stay on.

I don't really consider this a hobby per say, but boardgames & magic the gathering are pretty neat.
I ve combined those with this hobby as have others "pornstars and games: et al.

The SCA is not much different than this hobby except there is sword fighting first, then sex.

Scuba diviing, hang gliding, spelunking, adventuring and movie making are about the same level of fun. Always wanted to combine scuba with the his hobby however.

Fashion photography as a hobby is fun but its kinds of a cross over with this. Work photography is fun as well but its work so its really not comparable (which I suppose this is how SPs thing of the hobby - its work - fun but work.)

PS

When TERB had his yearly Halloween and Christmas parities- well those where fun as it combined charity, this hobby and other stuff into something amazing.

The paid sex parities are just a shadow of the past. There fun but you the pre social event where everyone got together was amazing.

That's impressive. People who've never driven/raced open wheel cars have no idea.

I've been doing this for a while. Met some wonderful women, made some cool guy friends, dated, got kinky, went to swingers clubs with my lady friends, done too many drugs.

I have my personal and professional life going well... but you know what?

When my friends or collegues invite me to normal social gatherings (drinks, golf, social events) I don't have half as much fun.

This community knows how to let loose, and for the most part - everybody keeps things cool and we can go our seperate ways with no drama.

Anybody else feel the same way? My secret hobby is just too much fun. I don't enjoy myself as much when I have to colour inside the lines.

Just a casual thread, reserve judgement. It's actually the first thread I've ever made in this section.
Playing blackjack professonally is a lot of fun. I played for over ten years, making half a million. If you like traveling, have a good bankroll, and like the thrills of winning big money playing cards, it's a good hobby. The key is to keep it as a hobby, not as a primary source of income. The massive swings can be soul-crushing, and being kicked out of casinos and banned from playing is tough, since there are very few casinos as it is. Hence, the longevity of a professional blackack player is usually quite short.

I ate countless meals at fancy restaurants, buffets, and stayed at some really nice hotels, and even went on a free cruise. All for free, since the casinos use these comps to try to lure back regular players. It's nice to have the casinos reward me for taking their money.

It’s time we all create our own independent nation! It will be a Utopia of like minded people who stray away from ridiculous religious morals that try to dictate our lives.

Golf when I was good at it. Great to be outdoors with friends socializing and competing on beautiful and varied courses, for four hours or so at a time plus the clubhouse grill after for food and drink. Several times a week.

Now that I'm old and too easily frustrated by not being good at golf anymore, I have to settle for an hour of fun a couple times a week with an sp or mpa at some hotel or condo or spa. Still usually fun, but not as satisfying an activity for a whole day, and actually more expensive...
