The Priest is good once in a while, like every 2 or 3 months. I say that because their burgers are so fucking greasy, it's unreal. If you ate those all the time, you'd end up dead within a year.

I can see that. They use a flat top grill and the more burgers cooked the more grease there is. Their burgers are good not great. And stupid expensive. I prefer charbroiled like you get at Burger Shack, The Fire Pit or Flame Grill, the latter having been turned into Middle Eastern fare in recent years.
The Fire Pit...use to eat their burgers when they where located near the Fire Department on Yonge St.in North York by City Hall... That is going back decades now
I guess I'm not as old as you. The Fire Pit I'm referring to is in Mississauga at Hurontario and Britannia
Yeah I went to high school down the street from there and used to go there like every other day...lol.
I believe the one in Mississauga originally was same people, but it moved to a strip plaza now and different owners. I don't if it's any good or not, but still has the old school feel to it.
I tried Holy Chuck once, and it was the most overrated greasiest thing I've had in my life. Wasn't impressed at all.
I had to come out of retirement for this for my terb fam.
Just tried Elijah's Automatic Flame Broiled and jaw is still on the floor. Just had the best frikken burger ever. Had the bacon cheese automatic and omgawd so good. You guys will not be disappointed. Mouth is still watering
Also their fries are fried in beef fat and more tasty and crispy then McDonald’s in a good way. Don’t need any ketchup or anything like that.

Same here. I also used to eat at the one near Victoria Park Ave. and Eglinton Ave. I think it closed in the late 1980's. The lot has been vacant ever since.

Went twice.
First time I was turned away.
Got there 30 mins before closing.
The gen z girl at the counter when I walked in said only in her apathetic tone we’re closed.
When I mentioned it’s hh before you close she said okay well then we’re out of food.
Typical attitude of the lazy generation working in the fast food industry.
Second time I went buddies from work insisted we go for lunch. I already had a bad taste in mouth due to the shir service I got first time around. Burger, too much sauce and greasy. Fries soggy and greasy. No go for me.

Yeah I think so. I actually talked to the owner unintentionally. He wanted to know how I liked the food and I thought it was just some random dude sitting next to me who wanted to start a convo. At first I thought who is this dude trying bother me while trying to eat, then I said yeah I really like it and lives up to the hype which I wasn’t expecting at all. He seemed really pleased especially since he saw my reaction was genuine and sincere that I enjoyed it so then I clued in and asked him if he was the owner.
When Burger Priest first started it was really good with lineups going around the corner. Now that it’s commercialized it’s just so so and I agree with this other guy. I’d rather go to Apache. Hopefully he keeps this place original and focuses on quality as most important and doesn’t turn it into burgers priest part deux. He seems to care about taste and is usually wondering around pretending to be customer to see people’s reactions and if it’s all going well.
I tried it again the day after and was still good. The meat is a little on the rare side but has lots of flavour and way better then current burger priest. Their doughnuts are pretty good as well.
