The Ukrainians that immigrated to Canada began in the late 1880s and 90s, when the Canadian Government at that time offered Ukrainians to immigrate to Manitoba and Saskatchewan and to farm on land that were given free to them. That is why Canada has such a large Ukrainian population. Both my parents were Ukrainian born in Canada while my grandparents on both sides came to Canada to become farmers and my parents each had about 10 siblings of which most of them remained farmers in the west. I don't think too many SPs came here back then.

All the OP did was say the following.
1: We will probably get some Ukraine refugees. This is factual and unless you are some sort of racist twat monkey, a harmless statement.
2: Asking without comment if this will mean more Ukraine SPs in the GTA. He put no value judgement on the situation, but to me it seems a valid question regarding the industry. I mean in any grouping some of them are statistically bound to be sex workers in the old country and being dropped into a new place without assets and perhaps not the best of language skills, it is not unreasonable to expect some of them to enter the field. I mean sex work is work right. Nobody seems to care about all those Hungarians and Romanians that were here using the sex trade to get out of bleak situations, threads and comments about them without remark. My comment that SPs and their like did not immigrate to Canada in the 1880s and 90s was simply a sarcastic joke.
