Meanwhile in Calgary!!.............That pesky FRINGE MINORITY and all.............
Couple of thoughts. First, Tamara Lich just lost that slender chance she had of getting bail. The JP reserved her decision until Tuesday and with this new shit and given the extent of Lich's complicity in this, bail chances just went POOF!

Second, 70% of Canadians support the action by the Ottawa police and that number is only going to climb. Any thoughts that the "truckers" were supported by a majority of Canadians is simply illusory. At this point, they're just politics porn for righties. The cops will escalate force and most Canadians will support that. So this is only going in 1 direction and that's not a good direction for the "truckers"

Third, this new shit just made Justin's court battle with the ACLU over the EA a LOT easier for him to win. Any judges hearing that case are going to be shit-scared that they don't remove the government's power to deal with the insurrection.

It also makes the CPC's position more and more difficult. I betcha they were going to argue that JT no longer needed the EA and he was over-reaching now. That argument just imploded. So the CPC has to back off or take a VERY unpopular political position. So they take a polling hit either way and also bleed supporters because they can't please their Far Right which is composed of dudes like Lolly and O-dog and their moderate centre both at the same time on this issue.

So, I'm luvvin' this. And seeing the cops use their tear gar and blunt force guns on the "truckers" is going to be better than watching NFL Sunday in terms of fun and action and - best of all - hurtin'!!

🐸 :ROFLMAO: 😺 🤓 😹;)

Now that the toothless knuckle dragging slack jawed white trailer trash hillbillies have been removed from the Hill, NOW the Government can start to lift the Mandates.

Never said that, never even commented on this thread before clearly you are confusing me with someone else. I was never for the blockage and I think the people part of it are a bunch of yokels. Obviously it starts affecting people's lives from day 1, but even if they are a bunch of yokels they still are entitled to the right to protest. It's not like this is the first protest we've ever had in this country, we've litterally had hundreds in our history and we've allow for them to take place previously so why should the police have cracked down on these guys right off the bat? No. There was no reason to and no one outside of probably the protest organizers had any idea that they would be so devoted to the cause as to live in trucks, some with their families for 3 freaking weeks in the of the winter. Protesting is allowed, occupation is not and its when this event turned into a occupation that it became illegal. Once that transition occurred than these protesters no longer had a legal right to be at this location much like how a pedestrian has no legal right to cross a road at a location other than an intersection or crosswalk.

Now I will say that I do agree with you that the police should not have waited this long to remove then and heads have rolled for those failings with more will more to come I'm sure.
I agree they should have been removed after a day or 2 at the most.

The only people outsmarted were the ones who freely gave their money to the hucksters.
I agree they were outsmarted too just like all the people who donated to BLM who's members bought houses with that money. Our politicians on all levels were outsmarted They knew they were coming and did nothing for 3 weeks. If they weren't outsmarted then they were either lazy or unprepared. What's worse?

Evan is seething and controlling himself from ploughing through them LOL....you could see the anger in his eyes.
When a good portion of the population has a such visceral reaction to the media, a decent journalist should ask himself, why? Else he might end up like the CNN.

But the answer to your question is the growth of right wing propaganda masquerading as 'news'.

So because the RIGHT WING doesn't like facts so now the media is suppose to follow the radical right bullshit and nonsense narrative to be accepted? NOT!!!

Trump's enemy of the people bullshit spin line stuck on the radical right like honey on slice of toast eh?

Let me say it again: noone was hit and no windows were broken. There was no physical violence
I really try not to get into insults as some do here but honestly there’s no valid excuse for your post in response to the links I sent you that show the physical violence absolutely took place!
Either you didn’t bother to read, will just simply deny evidence that runs counter to what you want to believe or you simply struggle to comprehend what was written.
So rather than “saying it again” try reading once.

These are from the very links you replied to insisting there was no physical violence:

“Earlier, a man who lives in the shelter was assaulted outdoors by protesters who then hurled racial slurs at a security guard who went to assist him, the shelter’s president and CEO said Sunday.”

And the lucky fact the rocks didn’t hit actually hit the individuals inside the ambulance doesn’t make it an unviolent assault.

“Paramedics asked for police escorts over the weekend after at least two ambulances were pelted with rocks.”
