The Conservative Party will likely kneecap this guy before the next election as they come to realize that as he placates the right wing elements and jacks them off, he also simultaneously moves the Conservatives away from the centre and makes them even less likely to even get a minority government. The one thing Sparta had going for it is that it was egalitarian - at least if you were a member of the master class and not a slave. Hard to compare that with the massive inequality of the modern USA.
