Military and civilian casualties in many specific countries were significantly higher than 1%. There weren't any in Sub Sahara Africa.
Are you claiming that civilian casualties in the world wars were " the best 'physical specimens' of Mankind"?

I thought you were referring to male soldiers.
I made no such claim. The total casualties of war, civilian and military, affect population statistics, and the impetus needed to replace the lost numbers. The 1% figure for military casualties is not accurate for many countries who were active participants in the war, and the military casualties represented a disproportionate percentage of the 'best physical specimens'. Jerry Seinfeld defined 90% of the population as "Undateable".

YOU already knew that, but you used an essentially meaningless statistic in an attempt to support a weak argument.

The law of physics is very simple:

Input - Output = Accumulation

No exceptions.
The Laws of Biology isn't as simple.

2 different people can consume the same but have 2 different outcome.

Unless you are recommending people to stave themselves, it's not a straight forward process.

Despite this, the epidemic of obesity is due to over-eating, eating unhealthy foods, and lack of exercise. It's NOT due to slow metabolism or any other excuse. None of the arguments above change that fact.

Do you collect some kind of reward points for being a self appointed white knight in every single thread?
Actually, the rewards of being a decent human being are phenomenal! You should try it sometime. 🙂

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. As stately previously, you do nobody favors by making excuses. It may feel good in the short term but health is everything. The body is the only place you have to live. And with few exceptions, people prefer fit over non-fit physiques.

I see "transformation" posts on social media all the time and they're never the type that show someone that is fit 'then' and overweight 'now' as progress or attractive.

Oh but the laws of physics are valid.
No exceptions.
When you are a women, No Exceptions. When you are a man, different story.

These guys below are all professional athlete, Where's your laws of physics Now?

It's understood that this is their body type and it's not an issue of overeating or neglect.

But when it's Women, It's "You eat too much, you're unhealthy, You did it to yourself, Law of Physics, Fuck you."

Please come tell now about the laws of physics.

Are you really explaining to grownups what they should look like? You think maybe they don’t own mirrors? Or is it just fun to shit on others anonymously as a keyboard warrior? Does it make you feel superior?

But you do make a point. I see air brushing, photoshopping, and the general distortion of bodies to make certain guys happy.

I could point out beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I could also point out beauty standards change with each generation. Marylyn Monroe would have been considered overweight by todays standards. And how did the big ass become a thing? It wasn’t when I was a kid, and now it is. Hmmm.

I am not arguing for you to change your opinion actually. But you don’t have to beat people up for not looking the way you want them too. What good does kicking down do?

There was a time when smoking cigarettes was cool, but we learned that it's bad for health. The same has happened with our understanding of obesity. There have been times in history when obesity would be a sign of wealth and privilege when most people were peasants unable to afford food and had to work hard (i.e. forced exercise) therefore burning off excess fat. We know better today and what we know informs our attitudes and lifestyle. My point hardly needs any support from you or any other naysayer on TERB. It's in front of you every day on mass media and social media, and in the people that YOU choose to make celebrities and idols. I didn't invent these standards nor does their existence have anything to do with my personal feelings of superiority. Re-stating them does not make me a warrior of any kind.

What does denial of biology and medical science do for you?

I call straw man. That was never the question on this thread. Nobody ever denied obesity has health risks.

So again… why are you picking on people when you could have just kept scrolling? (Hint, I already know the answer)

The title of the thread is "Fatphobia". It exists and the reasons why are detailed in the thread. You don't want to accept those reasons and you want to call people (the market at large) bad people for their preference of non-fat providers.

The mental hoops you have to create and jump through are mind boggling. Lol.

Yes. It was a troll thread from the beginning. The OP started a few more troll threads and I called him out one last night. Told him he really liked to stir the shit pot. The thread disappeared. Not sure how.

But as was obvious… the trolls would come out to fat shame the ladies who advertise as BBW. Of course they would “science” to justify themselves as “being right”.

But all you are doing is taking cheap shots at other people. It was predictable. That’s why the OP started it. Guess he likes seeing train wrecks. And I have to say, you personally, do not disappoint. Great job explaining the obvious. You provided such a fantastic public service here. Well done.

My initial response to the thread is below. I didn't not fat shame any advertiser here. But my response got trolled soon thereafter.

For the same reason you don't see obese people on the cover of magazines or as the star feature in movies and tv. It's a sign of poor health and/or poor lifestyle choices and is therefore unappealing to most consumers.

I find it pretty interesting that a person so worried about being appealing to others is a self-proclaimed know-it-all. I can't remember the last time that was viewed as desirable by the majority of society, yet here you are. Fascinating.

I bet you're the life of the party, am I right?

I'm not "worried" about anything. I have no idea what you're referring to.

I've tried to be the life of the party but for 2+ years it's been illegal to throw one.
