Went to pick up a couple things. Noticed the meat section and dairy were a bit empty.

And $5.99 for a stick of cheddar cheese? GTFOH

to those who supports lockdown, vaccine mandates and restrictions you all have no right to complain about the supply chain crisis which are caused by the mandate you blindly support. you all deserve this enjoy the consequences of your blind compliance.

some people have to learn the hard way.

Well then I guess by your logic we should let everyone run free and die that way there will be more commodities for who's left over

For two years we have been dealing with the spotty supply chain and rising prices- in some cases very dramatic increases and just as there was a sparkle of light at the end of a very dark tunnel, the Moron of Ottawa reversed himself. This should be "fun".

I noticed my tortellini doubled in price so I'm boycotting it. 🙁 And if the price of beef keeps rising, there's no way in hell I'm going to make my cabbage rolls with ground chicken! Grrrr...

I have been in Loblaws, Metro, No Frills and Freshco in the last two weeks. I have yet to see empty shelves. Perhaps I better get a pair of glasses.

At absolutely all level of the food chain in every country there is currently a shortage. Shortage because many staff quit and many are isolating themselves with covid.

We will probably see an economic recession for a year or 2 before things get better.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that the cause of the shortage isn't lockdown but people calling in sick because they got covid, likely from people like you.

It's weird how a population getting sick in large numbers could disrupt the economy.
Hoocuddaknowed!
No. They're testing positive for Omicron and spend a couple of weeks sitting at home with sniffles.

This crisis will only help people. It should force people to eat less and loose mass.
Then everyone will be healthy.
