You'd be wise not to trust CNN, Fox News, Rogan or any of the other US-based media, which can be best described as entertainment rather than journalism.
And that proves your point how?
They lie for their own agendas, as they are not owned and operated by the Government, the government can not directly call the shots.
No media is perfectly accurate. But free media is always more reliable than State run media. History has proven that again and again.
History may have proven that in North Korea or the USSR or Third Reich Germany, but that's not true in democracies.
I would argue the BBC is the best news organization on Earth. The CBC probably held that title in the 1960s and 1970s, but admittedly it has gone downhill since successive governments have cut CBC funding. Still, CBC documentaries are excellent.
And before anyone says the CBC is a "Liberal party shill", I will make a note of saying it was the CBC that broke the Chretien government's sponsorship scandal as well as the WE fiasco with the current Liberal government.
