+1. But Seinfeld is my all-time favourite. Surprised that Frasier hasn't been mentioned...one of my other favourites. 🙂
Frasier was clever on a whole other level.

Is anybody here old enough to remember Jackie Gleason's "The Honeymooners", "Bachelor Father", "Leave It To Beaver", "Father Knows Best", and "The Ozzie And Harriet Show" with Ricky Nelson?
of course i remember.......i watched these shows as a kid with my parents.....my Dad,s favourite though was The Phil Silvers Show playing an Army Sargeant Ernie Bilko and speaking of Ozzie and Harriet....i remember as a kid buying Mad Magazine...What Me Worry?...and only 25 cents cheap and one issue had a satire on Ozzie and Harriet and to this day i still remember the names given to the characters...Oozie and Harried, Ricky was Rickety and David was Divot

im off the grid with my favs........some posters have mentioned some of my Favs...but i still remember 2....McHales Navy and F Troop

When I was a kid, it would have been The Beverly Hillbillies.
Then as a teen, it was Get Smart.
Now, I still manage to LOL when I watch The Big Bang Theory. I've seen every episode at least once, but I still laugh every time. Even if it's an episode I've seen many times.
I remember the first time I watched it. Season 1, maybe the second or third episode. My wife had already gone to bed. I was laughing so hard, she got up and came to see what the hell I was watching that had me laughing so much.

Cabbagetown
Trailer Park Boys, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, Portlandia had its gold moments, and Mr Show with Bob and David are a few of my favorites. If I'm baked, I'll go with Wonder Showzen. Most of you have probably never seen or even heard of a few of these, but I'm a big time video collector. For sitcoms, I'll go with the first few seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Seinfeld
Curb
Cheers
South Park

Seinfeld pretty much ruined all future sitcoms for me. Except for Curb

Really should watch either version of The Office I suppose
The Office was one of the few shows that the Americans did better then the British. Mind you I do love Ricky Gervais...

WKRP in Cincinnati is my all time fav (you have to see the turkey drop episode)!!
Too bad the producers could not secure rights to all the music they played on the show. Otherwise it would be in syndication.

I wonder if I might crave your momentary indulgence in order to discharge a by no means disagreeable obligation which has, in this, become more or less required as we approach the terminal period of the thread — in fact, not to put too fine a point on it, the second page of posts — and submit to you, with all appropriate deference, for your consideration at a convenient juncture, a sincere and sanguine expectation — indeed confidence — indeed one might go so far as to say hope — that in the fullness of time, at the end of the day, when all relevant factors have been taken into consideration, susceptible to being deemed to be such as to merit a final verdict of having Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister been seen as by no means unsatisfactory in its overall outcome and, in the final analysis, to give grounds for being judged, on mature reflection, to have been conducive to generating a degree of gratification which will be seen in retrospect to have been significantly higher than the general average.
