I'm just getting into hearing these cats full discography. Wow is all I can say. This song inspired my favorite group After 7's song 'Nights Like This'
is this Barry White at the begining or a sound a like

I believe its Blue Lovett who was the bass baritone in the group. You're right resembles Barry White's voice quite a bit.

Places and Spaces is an amazing jazz-funk album. Released in 1975 on the Blue Note label by jazz trumpeter Donald Byrd. Featuring production by Larry Mizell.

Title track

Wind Parade (my ringtone)

(Fallin' Like) Dominoes
Wind Parade sampled on Black Moon's Buck Em Down from Enta Da Stage...Nice!

One of my favorite samples. And Buck Em Down remix is one of my favorite hip hop joints.

i dont recall this song being posted here....if so, that,s strange because its one of the greatest Soul songs from the 60,s..imo
If that wasn't posted that would be a glaring omission. This tune is iconic.
