Who's making these videos and why are they showing up on my menu board?

Myanmar is a jaw dropping gorgeous country that could become an economic powerhouse with democracy. The port of Dawei could possibly surpass Singapore in traffic, Thailand is all in on the project - but not if the military junta is in control.

The Chinese Maoists don't want democracy on their borders, they may have played a role in the military taking back power. They also want to dam up the Irrawaddy River and run the electrical power back to China. The Maoists have already destroyed the Mekong River, they won't lose any sleep over the Irrawaddy. If the military acquiesces to Chinese demands there could be civil war.

As any 3rd world country in Asia, only the rich enjoys their life there, they're also the first to get burnt once civil unrest takes over...

So Google developed an algorithm on me. Inferring from the Japanese rickshaw video that I liked Oriental women with bubble butts.

Are you referring to the Rohingya? It's tragic, Myanmar is made up of eight different ethnic groups with the Burmese being the majority. The Rohingyas the most oppressed, they are Muslims of Bengali ancestry that have never been accepted by the majority Buddhist population. They immigrated into Burma to work on the British plantations while Myanmar was part of the British Empire.

As a donor to Doctors Without Borders, I learned about the mysterious closed country of Myanmar. Anthony Bourdain's account.
