He approached them at a bar in playa del carmen ; she told him to get lost , he made it look like he was walking away and then he ran towards her and starting beating the shit out of her.

I don't think a professional boxer gets to plead "self-defence" for putting two women in hospital.

She slaps him and he blocks the slap - or takes it and then walks away. That's what common sense and the law require given the disproportion in strength and fighting ability.

Assuming he is indeed a pro boxer, he would belong to a fight club. Fight clubs are tight knit communities that impose justice in their own way. Not only did he embarass himself, he embarrassed his club affiliates.

Aside from any legal implications, this guy is in line for a beating that should deplete any juice left in him. I would love to see that justice served.
