Someone gives you US$40. That equals about C$50. But since US currency is not legal tender in Canada, you need to go to a bank to exchange it. The bank takes its cut, so now you've got about C$8 or C$9 extra. But the time you take having to go to the bank for a measly C$8 is hardly worth it.
I'd feel kind of cheap for a second or two, then I'd remember that I got paid to get laid. Laughing all the way to the beer vendor!
