Our North American way of life seems to be stressing over how to have more money, no matter how much money we have. I (sort of) know a guy who sold all his possessions and wanders around (like Jack Reacher without the violence) and he's very content with his life. Not the lifestyle for me but I'm sure there's a happy medium between that and continually chasing more.It probably means that McDonald owner in Denmark make 500k profit per year instead of 1 million.
That's were we need to think before we write regular bullshit stuff we have been told to believe.
It's ok to make only half the profit you could make if you can have happy employee and live stress free.
Will america understand that?
The worst is to think it makes no sense to pay mcdonald employees 22$/hour with medical coverage. It makes perfect sense actually. Our North American way of life seems to be stressing over how to have more money, no matter how much money we have. Geez, every country should just mandate higher wages to eradicate poverty!Don’t you hate it when everyone has a little disposable income and the economy is roaring!
it was not mandated…. The free market just did itGeez, every country should just mandate higher wages to eradicate poverty!
Utopia is at hand.
But why stop at alleviating poverty? Why not make everyone RICH? Raise wages even further!
life does not evolved only on gas… Denmark is small they take public transport and you know what… its just fineSince life in Denmark is so great let us try bring
our standard of living to their level. I suggest we
start with gas price. Last time I check average
price of gas in Denmark is USD$2.15/litre. That
translates to about $2.72/litre in loonie. Lets begin
with raising our gas price to motivate everyone
to cut down driving to improve air quality here.
What about the domino effect of the rich hoarding all the money? That’s what create the proble we see now.the problem I have with setting a minimum wage at 22 is that people making above 22 will not also share a significant increase in their wages and more than likely will stay the same. so is the roofer that was making 22 before now going to make 30 something? are people with more valuable skills than mickey ds workers going t have a significant raise?
as well the costs of that pay raise will also be passed upon to everyone inflating the current costs people pay now.
as a stock holder I would not be pleased with a company whos profit would be diminished, as I am a passive income investor. there is no incentive for me to invest my money into companys if I am not making the return I need.
people fail to see the future consequences of actions. its a domino effect.

Understandably you are focused upon gas and oil. No surprise there.Since life in Denmark is so great let us try bring

Don't point out inconvenient facts!!!it was not mandated…. The free market just did it
Denmark has one of the highest qualities of life. Maybe stockholders worrying about a few more cents on their investment doesn't make for a better life.the problem I have with setting a minimum wage at 22 is that people making above 22 will not also share a significant increase in their wages and more than likely will stay the same. so is the roofer that was making 22 before now going to make 30 something? are people with more valuable skills than mickey ds workers going t have a significant raise?

Which is directly connected to taxes. The tax money that could be used to facilitate better public transit is never collected because taxpayers are more worried about what the government takes from them rather than what they give back.Tell hobbyists here living around central Toronto
to use public transportation for their next visit to
Pickering Angels or Allure spas. Life will be fine
riding on GO transit.
if you were an investor would you mind losing a source if your income or significant amount of your retirement resources for the benefit of others? 20, 30, 40? how much would you be willing to lose?Denmark has one of the highest qualities of life. Maybe stockholders worrying about a few more cents on their investment doesn't make for a better life.
some people are more financially intelligent with their money than others. typically poor people do not invest in assets and make counter productive choices in their life. there will always be a divide regarding wealth. over the centuries that divide has shrank. What about the domino effect of the rich hoarding all the money? That’s what create the proble we see now.
