He's stupid, he's not a hardworker, a coward...having said, I probably would have said Not Guilty too.

The United States needs more immature 17 year old kids with no training and no experience roaming the streets with a AR-15 acting as a armed security official despite having no qualifications to do so...What could possibly go wrong?
Yup; I've said the same thing, if I were deciding this case based on the law of the jurisdiction, I also would have said Not Guilty.

The issue here is not the verdict; the issue is how fucking stupid the laws are in the US. Any country that allows "armed citizens" to roam the streets has no business calling itself civilized.

Ok finally reason. So then why not go after the politicians who are creating these ridiculous laws and putting these people in this situation. But no what happens people and cops get pawned and blamed and all this fallout happens like Kyle while the politicians are laughing at us from a beach smoking their splits and drinking their bourbons on jet skis and hos while we still keep fighting for them and their stupid laws. Although I agree that people need to have gun right to protect themselves and property especially in a country where their laws are shit and politicians care more about the money then people. If you are going after guns go target the criminals and organizations funnelling illegal guns to people who don’t have licenses. Reason we are in this situation is because the cops were told to stand down by the politicians and let these “protesters “ do their thing.

I completely 100% agree; however, the problem in America centres on their "2nd Amendment". The instant any lawmaker in the US even thinks of tabling a bill to restrict what Americans can and can't do with guns, there's a massive outpour of "but muh rights! Muh freeDUMB!" You have an entire culture largely based around a weird fixation with guns down there.

And a law that was written when you needed 60 seconds to recharge your gun after each shot...

A lawyer interviewed on CNN last night said that Kyle should stay mum until the civil suits are all settled. Plus, I hear that the Feds are taking a 2nd or 3rd look at filing some kind of charge against Kyle?

I have to give him credit for condemning the right wingers who are trying to use him for political gain. He beat the charges and he admitted that he would never do such a foolish thing again. Let’s hope he’s learned his lesson and he should probably just go away and hide somewhere for the next little while.

Hard to call attackers victims.........Regardless of colour.
Perhaps they felt there were defending their town from armed insurgents from out of State…. There with illegal weapons to promote violence. Kyle did fire the weapon in the air, which is what got their attention.
Bottom line… a whole of stupid happened that night. Kyle is not brave nor a hero. Unfortunately for his victims, they escalated a bad situation making it worse.

They were assailants, not victims. You gave chase after a 17 yr old for what intentions? Kyle was running away from them...he fired his gun when he had no other option...that is why it was a slam dunk on self defense...stop watching The View

Not his first shot. He fired in the air before anyone was chasing him.

America is in flux as is the mutating Covid-19 virus. The 2024 election will be a real bipartisan circus with increasingly heavy identity politics. Biden will be under heavy pressure to both uphold and attack the KR decision from both sides. KR is now for better or worse and American icon and a political football.

while America is at war with itself, it’s autocratic enemies are unified and making advancements. The empire is almost over.

Yep aside from a dealership with about a hundred cars blown up, dozens of other local businesses razed to the ground, mostly mom and pop shops many of whom lost all their life savings and will never recover... sure... sure... it was peaceful protests. Hell, even the left wingers' most "trusted news source" said so LOL.

During the peaceful demonstrations throughout the US last year, upwards of thirty people were killed, plus thousands injured, many seriously incuding 700 law enforcement officers. A group of radical idiots toppled a statue right onto a BLM member's head - the brain damage is catastrophic. He has to relearn everything and will never ever be the same. If he could rewind time I bet he would rethink attending that "peaceful protest".

All in 35 fires were set, plus well over a hundred businesses/buildings were looted, damaged and destroyed.

Here's some of the aftermath of the peaceful protests:
