No social media and few lefties in WW II. Actually, some of the current lefties are re-writing the book on WW II and saying we are terrible people because:
1) We bombed Nazi Germany 24/7.
2) We dropped the A-bombs on Japan to end the Pacific War.
3) We allowed the Russians to take Berlin because we value western lives more than Russian lives.

This has to be the unintentionally most stupid post of the year: Few lefties in WW II

No doubt about the heavy lifting in WWII. They even took Berlin. The ordinary Russians paid a heavy price before, during and after WWII.

The Soviet Union was a Stalinist dictatorship in WWII. Stalin killed as many Russians as the Nazis. The Stalinists even murdered returning soldier POW's and DP civilians. It is an insult to compare western lefties to those butchers who ruled the Soviet Union back then.

Diplomacy is only possible when dealing with rational individuals. And as war, diplomacy has its uses, but it is not the ultimate solution.

WWII was instigated by a lunatic in the west. Political leaders in
Japan were more or less rational but lost control of the military.

Does the above quote mean that the Soviet Union in WW II was lefty? That seems to be the connection when "lefties" and "Soviet Union" are in the same quote.
