Belarus dissident site is saying its mainly a false flag event orchestrated by Lukashenka.
Not so long ago, a group of migrants created a public chat in telegram, in which they agreed to cross the Belarusian border legally in an organized group, and then ask Poles to let them further into the EU. The common meeting point was announced in the area of the gas station "Belarusneft" not far from the border crossing point, and then they planned to move towards the border crossing on foot.
The migrants were taken by cab to the area of the "Belarusneft" gas station and continued on foot in the direction of the border crossing. They were stopped by armed men on the approach to the checkpoint and were not allowed to pass through the border crossing point. They pushed the migrants off the road into the nearby forest. The migrants were led by the Belarusian side along a prepared corridor across the internal fence line. Most of the migrants were pushed toward the Polish border. At first they did not want to attack the fence. Therefore, the Belarusian border troops sent undercover soldiers to "inspire the crowd". After that, a video appears on which we can see the same man with scissors cutting barbed wire and breaking the fence with a military shovel.
Some migrants still managed to get to the border crossing point. The reaction of the Belarusian troops was quick - they moved more people and blocked the gate, preventing the migrants from reaching the only legal route to Poland.
The Polish troops were well prepared and prevented all invasion attempts. When the migrants realized that they could not cross the border by force, some of them tried to return, but the Belarusian forces started shooting in the air, trapping these unfortunate migrants.

Poland is situated in a bad location.
It has been marched over so many times. Napoleon marched over Poland on his way to Russia. Hitler marched over Poland on his way to Russia. Poland then became a captured Russian/Soviet satellite after WW II. Can't blame the many Poles who immigrated to Canada.
BTW: It was the Soviets, and not the Nazis, who murdered 4,000 Polish officers in the forest in WWII.
I happen to know quite a few Poles and not that many in Poland are interested in coming to Canada, these days- according to them. They say that their economy is doing very well, they have access to the whole EU's labor market- if they wish it the standard of living is very high and the abortion laws are in line with their socio-cultural norms. You may not agree, but that means exactly squat.
Actually, Napoleon had a big rep in Poland and was never seen as an invader, but as a liberator. The Poles put him in their national anthem, after all.

Lol!!! I'm Jewish and my family lived in Western Ukraine. I know all there is to know about Polish or Ukrainian antisemitism. I also know of the great strides the Poles made in the last 30 years to free themselves from the stereotype- led by their Pope, BTW.

There are probably 1 billion people that live in poverty in the south and middle areas of the earth.
100 years ago, they did not know anything else, but now they have cell phones and can see how the people of the north lives, and they want that also.
