If we are loosing the war over global economy to China
then military war may be the only option.
China is taking over ExxonMobil's supergiant oil field
in Iraq (if not done already). China has secured long term
supply of natural gas from Russia and Iran while Putin is
threatening gas supply to Europe. China has already dominated
supply of rare earth minerals crucial to world's climate-
-driven transition to renewable energy. And the Talibans
would likely welcome China more than the west
to develop the resources of rare minerals in Afghanistan.
China will turn out to be the biggest beneficiary of the bogus
global transition to renewable energy as their industry will enjoy
the lowest cost of manufacturing thanks to availability of cheap
and polluting non-renewable energy.
They can continue to burn increasingly cheaper
dirty coal being phased out by the west to compensate for
increase of electric power demand from growing usage of EVs.
The west will have to import cheaper but still overpriced
wind turbines, solar panels and Tesla cars from where the energy
cost is lower. We will have to increase
export of our remaining oil, gas and coal resources to China to
find the money to carry on the renewable energy transition.
And long before the transition is complete our standard
of living will be on par with the developing world.

There are 450 Minuteman III silos in the northwestern Great Plains states, and according to Wikipedia there are 399 active missiles within those silos
Yes, the ground based missile system is the minute man III, the ground based missiles for m one leg of our nuclear triad, the other 2 legs are sea and air. The idea is that if Russia or China attacked us, they could not possible get all missiles in the air, land , and sea. The end result is that even if an enemy launched a first strike, he would also be utterly destroyed. We have 18 Ohio class boomer subs. Each one carries 24 missiles, each missile carries (10) 3.4 megaton war heads that have independent targeting. One US Ohio class sub can destroy a whole continent.

After Pearl Harbor, the U.S. Navy changed their policy to ensure that there are enough ships at sea to wreck havoc on the enemy. It was fortunate that on December 7, 1941 the carriers were out at sea on exercise. Those same carriers won the day at Midway.
Sea based capability is only part of the strategy. There is no reason to believe that China and Russia have not figured out the same strategy.

the United States with their satellites would know the location of all the silos which are sitting ducks they can’t be moved they can’t be protected they worked years ago when missiles were not accurate that’s not the case anymore
