5) cellphonesHave you been personally affected by supply chain problems? So far I have not. Here are some stories I'm hearing.
1) Lack of bikes and parts.
2) Crutches
3) HAC parts
4) Condoms
I was in Ikea earlier today and I gotta say it was pretty empty. All I wanted to do was replace some cutlery and they said had nothing,While I realize this is insignificant compared to most of the supply chain issues, a month ago I ordered from Amazon two recent release CD's on the Kent label out of England, one being a Motown girls compilation, and the other being a Stax various artists compilation. Supposed to arrive 3 weeks ago. So far Amazon has advised twice their deliveries will be delayed.
My son went to Ikea looking for stuff for his new apartment. Told me they're out-of-stock of almost everything.
I went to Aren't We Naughty today to buy a sex toy for a "friend". I asked them how the supply chain issues are affecting them. They said no problem with Canadian and US made items, but serious delays if they are coming from overseas. Thankfully the toy I wanted was in stock!
1st world problems?over-hyped, 1st world problems
markets and grocery stores are full of products, CanTire is full of bicycles, and I am sure for every shorted product there is some alternative that is either the same from a different brand or slightly similar
for those panicking about this end-of-the-world even, maybe start shopping local, and/ or stop buying online, if time is critical (e.g. xmas season)
She's probably getting fucked by the whole crew. Might have a bun in the oven by the time she's deliveredI think my mail order bride is stuck in the container on a ship waiting to port…
Are you suggesting the good crew on Mersk shipping are using the air holes in the container as glory holes? With my petite little flower? Well I do say good sir, that Ivan and Igor assured me that Svetlana is as pure as the driven snow! As a matter of fact, some of the stains on their wife beaters were from defending her honour in the home land…. Others were from vodka. She's probably getting fucked by the whole crew. just avoid buying toys online, at least until the end of the shopping season, and you will be fine1st world problems?
Definitely. And since I want to live in the 1st world, they are real problems.
So why compare yourself to the worst? Anything better than subsistence living is worthy of labels?
Sorry, no can-do. You want to live in a wig-wam be my guest, but even then, you are in LUXURY compared to Neanderthal man!
And EVERYONE is better off than the Amoeba.
First world problem...unless you're in construction, for example, and the project gets delayed because of shortages of manufactured steel products.over-hyped, 1st world problems

People in the trade are blaming the pandemic for scarcity of supplies and price increases. Sometimes I wonder if the trades are using the pandemic simply as an excuse to jack up prices?I sell electronic measurement instruments. Earlier in the year I was trying to produce another batch of one of my products, had a hard time finding a critical chip but ended up finding some stock somewhere, I thought nothing of it and just proceeded with production as normal but this last batch has alot more defects than prior batches and it was that critical chip that is causing the problem. Those chips probably did not pass factory QA and got sold to me as new product and I had to pay a premium for it because there was no other option.
If I could go back in time, I would have not produced the batch and just leave it as out of stock and get them produced when my known good suppliers have stock.
Scarcity->over supply->scarcity->over supply. Probably next year at this time we will be facing an oversupply of the things that are scarce now and the price of oil will be back in the dumps.People in the trade are blaming the pandemic for scarcity of supplies and price increases.
