I owe one MSM TV channel an apology for the title of this thread. I just watched a run of commercials on FOXNEWS. There were white hetro couples in their commercials. There were commercials with diversity as well. Leave it to FOXNEWS to broadcast most truthfully.
All Canadian MSM TV stations, BBC, and ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and the like in the States who fake the portrait of reality in the societies they broadcast to is whom I'm referring too.

Very true and with reason, the priority is going to the immigrants flowing into the country at the rate of a half million a year. Politicians and media know that immigrants will soon outnumber the whites. It has already happened im the GTA.

Yes, but does it reflect reality? Maybe I live in an alternate universe but I see very few (not none) mixed race couples in my travels around Toronto (no, I don't live in Forest Hills).
The few I see are usually (not always) white male and Asian women.
I'm surprised that commercial isn't pulled and a boycott started against paper towels.

The whole point of a commercial is to advertise and market the product to reach the intended user with the outcome of increased sales. A lot of factors come in to play
Generally ,People want to see others like them or inspire to be using the product demonstrated.

I guess some of you are longing for the “GOOD OLD DAY’S” when everybody in the commercials were White even though they were lots of people of different races out there who were never represented.
I for one do not have a problem with it and accept our society as it is today. If these things are bothersome you really have to ask yourself WHY.

Some of the old school, white's only adverts were traumatizing! Until Sarah Davis returned, I didn't watch ANY TSN programming because of this.

its all about appealing to groups to sell products. attracting specific groups versus a market that already buys the product. its seen in television programing and movies. gays, trans, black, muslim etc have been considerably added to media since those group watch it. we are seeing changes such as a female james bond, a gay superman etc.
frankly diversity has made movies and shows less appealing. I dont bother watching most of it not because of introducing different races etc but they deviate from what made the original attractive to me in the first place. eg george lucas starwars versus disney pile of shit.
