The real tragedy of 2020 was complete unavailability of diet Dr Pepper. For months I couldn't enjoy my favorite pop. And unlike Coke, there simply is no substitute.

Yeah, Dr. Pepper is the best. Haven't tried the diet version though. Is it any good?

I hate Dr Pepper, but I cannot live without Diet Dr Pepper.

Ok, I'll have to give the diet version a shot. I thought you might drink the diet version for health reasons (diabetic) or something but if it is purely a taste thing I guess I've missed out.

I haven't touch pop in years never really developed a taste for all that sugar. I like bubbles though so I have a soda stream.

My younger brother was into pop heavy, unlike me he never smoked, he died of cancer in 2020. Pop will kill you.

I would have withdrawals if Coca Cola ever vanished. Pepsi is terrible. Root Beer is only good when you get it in a frosty mug at A&W.

This wont affect me since I drink Pepsi
I used to drink Pepsi when I lived in Europe. However, it had a lot different taste- different water and less sugar(?). It also came in proper glass bottles. When I came here I couldn't believe it was the same drink. I add Coke to the domestic beer in Canada and US which is almost uniformly terrible. Ricard's Red is pretty decent, still nowhere near to the Central European beers.

You got to die of something, dear. At my age it's not much of a threat. After decades of hard living, frankly, I'm astonished that I can still get it up. Practice maybe?

No biggie. I can't stand Coca Cola. Much prefer Pepsi.

Red House over yonder.
Both no caffeine Coke and Pepsi seem to only be available in my area in plastic liter bottles. Supposedly the bottlers can't get enough aluminum to also make those brands in cans. Believe it or not.
