laws don’t stop illegal guns…. Just as traffic laws don’t stop speeding.

Nobody is suggesting we scrap traffic laws because people still speed. Rather, a law is simply a tool that police use to go after the bad guys. It sets the rules and what we can and can’t do.

if you want to stop illegal guns in the country you have to go after manufacturers. They are the ones supplying the black market.

The manufactures are not supplying the black market each and every gun is serial numbered sold to distributors who sell to dealers who sell to the public requiring a background check at point of sale.

the fact is most of the guns the police Recover are prohibited in Canada they are short barreled handguns prohibited in early 90s.

guns are traceable To the dealers who sell them at the retail level that includes gun shows.

If there was this conspiracy your alleging you know the Feds would’ve laid conspiracy charges a long time ago.

Fact is most American homes have at least one firearm. Concealed carry permits are up by huge numbers the number of first time gun buyers are also up by huge numbers.

Part of the problem with the illegal guns in Canada is the hug a thug approach the criminal justice system takes, guys get caught with 20-30 illegal handguns in a car being smuggled across the border and do less than five years.

We have also all read the articles guys arrested for shooting and had been charged with the same thing previously and has multiple lifetime weapons bans, catch and release doesn’t work.
